I am still in the experimental stages using seaweed products but the service is first class and I no longer use salt in the cooking

Great product. I tried seaweed sheets and didn’t like them but these flakes are very versatile. I add them to miso paste with spring onions and tofu for a great miso soup! Hard to find an outlet so I bought a tub online instead.

Not really a salt substitute as the product does not have salty taste and on each packet it says how to cook with leaflet inside but I bought 4 products and there were no leaflets

Great products, great service. Looking forward to getting the benefits of using the seaweed rather than ordinary salt which we all know is not good for you.

Bit of a delay in despatch of this order, which I am sure was down to a sudden surge in business; also packets missing the promised 'leaflet enclosed', but as it is all on the website anyway this is not a disaster.

None of this should take away from an excellent product by a committed producer.

I ordered a selection of seaweed products as I couldn’t decide which flavour to go for.
Do far the Furikake is the favourite the extra spices give it more strength. If you think of using it as salt replacement you need quite a lot and then it can have a slight fishy taste.
In 3 of the 4 packs I ordered the promised recipe ideas inside the pack were missing, annoying if you only buy one.
Overall I like the health benefits of the additional minerals but don’t think it will render the salt grinder obsolete.

Impressed..haven't used salt since buying...will buy again. I have had seaweed before but this is far superior to the one I used.

Disappointing product. NOT a salt alternative. I was led to the product by a rather convincing program showing people wading through seaweed. I tried a small package. It was virtually tasteless. Tried people at the dinner with a 'blind test' but apart from the fibrous feeling they got on their tongues, they wouldn't have known, even though we applied copious amounts to the food. The food? We tried chips. Bland old chips and thought that being so mundane, it wouldn't smother the taste of the product. One of our friends dipped her chip directly into the product and could hardly taste anything. Very disappointed and as a replacement for salt? Never in the memory of man - in our (5 of us) opinion.

Maybe a good product however not a good idea to request a review when I am yet to recieve the 3 types of seaweed!

A little costly for such a small amount of product but.. using the Post Office for delivery was a good choice as they keep you advised of planned delivery down to a couple of hours to the door. Ive just tried the product on some patatas bravas and have to say im really impessed with the flavour. I hope to become a regular customer for health reasons, but lowering the price some would really help me make that decision 😎

This is the third time that I have ordered from Mara. My second order was taking some time so I mailed them. They replied within a couple of hours. They then sent it out next day delivery at no extra cost to me. Everyone makes mistakes but they rectified the problem and were very apologetic. Great customer service. Can recommend their products and service.
