Staff is nice during pickup and delivery. Had to ask a few times to get copies of the preliminary look over of the car we rented. No paperwork given back on the return. Make sure to video before and after. The wagon we got was all scratched up. Lets say well used. It could of been better. We recieved 2 times 35 euros administration charges after the return for 2 traffic fines that occurred 4 hours apart. No where in the paper work does it say 35 euros per fine admin charges. I took this up with Myca in Malaga airport and asked for 50% reduction because it was 2 fines on the same day. How much extra admin was required. Myca person did not respond back.

1. Pick up was late
2. 9 seater van that no one had a clue how to fold down seats to access back seats and not willing to try and work out until I said they had to.
3. Rude staff
4. Van not fit for purpose! Air conditioning didn’t work and didn’t have a replacement van.
5. No manager to speak to just angry employee as we didn’t fill the van back up( which after 1 hour driving ringing with sweat back to airport was the last thing on my mind)!
6. My wedding holiday was ruined with guests being carted around in a sweat box in 35 degree heat which is definitely not fun!
7. Check your vehicles are fit for purpose and don’t blame the customer by saying you should have rang us as you already told us you only have one 9 seater!
8. Emailed a complaint with no response
9. £1000 for fuel and van hire for a week with terrible service and vehicle not fit for purpose is highly expensive, train your staff with manners and check your vehicles are road worthy!

First time using Marbenjo (they also use “Myca” branding).

They are located on an industrial state near the airport and provide a minibus transfer. After collecting your bags and leaving the terminal, give them a phone to let know you’ve arrived and and take the short walk to the collection area, opposite the Control Tower (shared with other operators and signposted). It was only a short wait for the bus, then a 5/6 minute drive to their garage (we had the the bus to ourselves).

Their garage is bright and clean and the office is air conditioned, plus there is a toilet and a vending machine selling drinks. Paperwork and payment were completed quickly and there was no hard selling of insurance (just a casual check if we needed it). They completed the damage report with me watching, then the car was ours. We got the exactly the car ordered, new and in great condition, and very clean. Another nice thing is that it only had small “Myca” stickers on it - no massive stickers like some companies use, which scream “I’m a hire car”. No rush for us to leave, so we could take our time loading cases, etc.

Return was just as easy - quick check of the fuel level and for no new damage, then a short wait for the minibus back to the terminal, which dropped us off right outside departures.

Note that, rather than block the deposit amount on your credit card, they charge it and then do a refund upon return - depending how the exchange rate changes, you may get a slightly less or more back (we made a few Pounds profit :-) ).

Friendly staff with great service. Would happily use again in the future.

I have used this car hire company a number of times for an extended hire period. They have always been helpful and have gone out of their way to help.
During the lockdown in Spain my contract was due to end. They offered to meet at a convenient handover place as the office was closed. In fact, I wanted to extend the car for a further period which they were able to accommodate.
I have read a number of stories of other companies making things very difficult for their customers during the lockdown period, Marbenjo have been amazing and I will always use them in the future when possible.

First time we hired a car and we are very pleased we rented at Marbenjo. Quick & good service and we get offered a nice, new car.

Rented a car with Marbenjo via Zest Car Rentals and although I was really worried about being ripped off, my fears were alleviated with an excellent all round service. We were met promptly at the airport and taken to their office in Churriana, which is around 5 minutes by car. The car was very nice and staff were polite. Would definitely use again.

Great value, met at Malaga airport and driven to carhire. Lovely clean car. Very quick service. Would definitely use again.

Wir haben via billiger-mitewagen.de und Sunnycars für eine Woche Malaga einen Suzuki Jimny gemietet: Prima Service, absolut zuverlässiger Abhol- und Bring-Service vom Flughafen. Auto prima in Schuss und sauber. Leider fehlte die Radioantenne, sonst wären es 5 Sterne geworden.
