APPOINTMENT-SETTER HIRING
I was being hired for an appointment-setter role. There was no human interaction, just email guiding me through the process. I was supposed to have an initial interview via Zoom but they reverted the Zoom meeting to a last-minute request for a recorded voice self-introduction instead.
I was invited to visit their website which claims. It said they are based in Sydney Australia, but other web sources show their location is in USA. Website says: "Automate Calls With Human-Like AI Phone Agents That Drive Sales." Another misleading info is that they promote AI voice appointment system that books appointments. Putting myself in the picture, I felt that I will be exploited here through my voice.
These findings strike 3 points against integrity so I tried to look for other reviews especially here on Trust Pilot. I'm surprised that somebody raised a RED FLAG that it's a SCAM.
Having practiced in the financial services industry for over a decade and a half, I put a high price on a company's integrity and I won't trade my doubt to a "what if it's better" curiosity. My motto has always been: if in doubt, don't.
