I have been using Marketinout for roughly a year. I find the price-to-value ratio extraordinary; I don't understand why it isn't more widely used. Being a software developer, the use of the formula screener and formula backtester is very logical and flexible for me. A wealth of indicators and mathematical tools are at one's disposal, enabling the creation of extremely sophisticated entry/exit criteria and stock filters.

Every time I got stuck with something, I simply asked through the 'Contact Us' section, and it almost always turned out that my goal could be achieved through the proper combination of existing tools. I have always received a reply within one business day. The interface may not be as flashy as other platforms, but the functionality is outstanding. Even without programming skills, complex queries and backtests can be created via the UI, but for those with a sense for coding, the formula editor provides a highly versatile instrument.

A major differentiator from other platforms is that backtesting on US exchanges from 2000 onwards includes defunct companies, thereby avoiding survivorship bias.

From a user perspective, implementing interactive charts would be highly beneficial and would enhance the platform's attractiveness. Furthermore, a community forum for sharing ideas, formula snippets, screeners, and backtest results would likely draw in more users (there are numerous open-source tools that could be integrated for this purpose).

Regarding documentation, more detail is needed on indicator parameters, particularly for those that are not user-configurable, to understand which internal values are being used.

Lastly, I would recommend adding the ability to include custom columns for transactions within the backtester’s exit script. This would allow users to log the specific conditions that led to a closing signal, much like the functionality currently available in the screener.

Terrible customer service...so much so there isn't customer service. Good luck getting help from them. They will only help you pay for the service, after that....you are on your own to figure out their program that seems to be ran off DOS.

Garbage. Don't waste your time. Missing many important parameters. Also, will seem as if you can test the system but after you spend a lot of time and thought entering your strategy, THEN the paywall pops up. There is no trial. There is no one week or one month paid test. You MUST subscribe for 6 months. Nah, pass, NEXT!

Horrible customer service. They changed to 6 month renewal and no information on the site for how to update credit card information or cancel

been a subscriber for many years, pretty good database, easy to use, the team is friendly and replied quickly when I wrote and asked them, obviously sophisticated stuff, better suit professional investors rather than retail investors.
