Update on the ongoing dispute

Still no refund from the company even though they sent me an email telling they would refund. They already have my details and card information from the initial purchase but will still no refund.

If they do not refund in 14 days I will take further action reporting the company to action fraud, report the directors on companies house of theft to the police and report to insolvency services of the dispute in service as I never requested or applied for a so called training course.

THIS IS A SCAM

They are in with other people who keep calling me from different parts of the world(Europe, Australia). I got scammed before by an investment company(I got my money back), and this person called me and told me that they could get my money that was made under my name, and they could make me a "recovery wallet", but I needed to make an account on this platform for 99 euro. This platform gave all my personal information to those guys, (in the meantime I found out that they were scammers, for short no one can ever get you back any money from crypto, so don't fall for that) and they keep calling me even though I told that I know is a scam and reported to the police as well.
I asked for a refund but it didn't happen yet. I need to wait and hope it will happen.

Markettrends makes hard stuff easy to understand. I'm doing better with my trading now, and the whole course is great.

I've taken many trading classes, but this one is the best. It talks about many ways to trade, developers really know their stuff. I feel better at trading now.

Occurance -

I responded to an add for an AI Trading Bot.

Website details linked to Market Trends Education - (MTE).

The pricing structure was not clear on the add.

I paid money expecting access to the said Bot.

I received calls and was given access to a different product.

A third party (redacted) contacted me with details I supplied in response the MTE advert.

I adhered to MTE refund rules and requested a refund - given in full after I provided them with information on the company that contacted me with information gleened from the MTE advert.

Since my initial dealings with MTE and my resulting review they have constantly harassed me via email and even on phone after daylight hours.

They have now told trust pilot I was not a customer despite them having my email from an initial interaction. Because of the lies this review may get taken down.

I have never been so badly harassed and would not wish this on anyone. I have had to block them on my phone. Screen calls and report their emails as spam.

Please do yourself a favour and STEER CLEAR.

J'ai lu quelques avis et particulièrement les négatifs.Pour ma part c'est, sans le vouloir, que j'ai été dirigé sur Trustpilot et que j'ai été prélevé de 249€ , d'inscription. J'ai contacté Trustpilot et de bonne foi, j'ai évoqué ne pas comprendre l'adhésion contre ma volonté et le débit sur mon compte.
Échange courtois et promesse de remboursement tenue !
Alors je ne peux,que vous faire part de ma satisfaction et de leur honnêteté ,en m'effectuant un remboursement et virement des 249€ sur mon compte bancaire.
Si leurs promesses de qualités, de leurs produits est identique à , leur gestion des problèmes avec leurs adhérents je ne peux que vous confirmer mon avis positif.
Et je ne pense pas que l'honnêteté ai plusieurs vitesses ! On est ou on ne l'est pas !

Update: I’ve spoken to MarketTrends and they allege that a third party has been using them as a scam. This doesn’t explain their charge on my bank statement/how it leads to them. They have refunded my money however the reviews do not lie. There’s a clear reason why despite marketing themselves as an educational platform, people are referring to trading. Don’t ignore the red flags. Please read my original review below.

I find the company to be a scam. I thought I was getting an AI app that would help me make good investments. That is not the case, when I’ve asked for my money back they have decided to invest my money without my permission. It’s honestly so nasty, I could cry. Please do not fall victim to their scam. They’re awful.

They refuse to give refunds and if you read the other 1 star reviews, you’ll see they’ve been scamming others. They claim to give education also, but that is just a front for their scamming ways. Their customer service is also very unprofessional at times.

Recently, after the fiasco they got back in contact (calling me at all hours of the day despite my job!). They’ve said they’re trying to “rectify” things right now with a “bonus”, but all I want is a refund. Give me my money back.

And just in case you’re from the company reading this, I’ll be speaking to my bank and reporting my experience to the police (via the cyber crime portal). Either you get in contact and rectify what you’ve done or I’ll be escalating as far as I need to.

People reading this, RUN from them and their fake 5/4 star reviews.

This Company is a scam and they will steal your money. Any positive reviews come from them and aren't real people who have dealt with them. They get you involved in a Crypto scheme and steal your money. They stole over $3000 CAD from me and I haven't received it back. Low life thieves.

Found them on the internet paid the 250,00 for a package and then suddenly my money was on my trading account with FinanceWise. So there must be a connection between these two companies. Immediately I was called daily pushing me to invest more. I did. The proceeds were transferred to me daily and my brooker Olivia Edmonds, Katrine Vestergaard and Katherine Cruz tried to gain my confidence. She called me several times a day and I got suspicious as there was something wrong with my account, I could not see the transactions she did. But well I got my small amount of profit. And then it came: I had to invest 15.000 and in two day I would receive 30.000 !! To good to be true. Luckily I found warning about this company right here on this site. And when I refused to invest things got nasty. She showed her real face: I was disrespectful as she had made me money (altogether 75,00) when I asked refund I got half of my money back and she said the rest is in trades, but she stopped trading for me. I am SO happy people are warning other people.. I still have my money and the little loss I have is my lesson not to be naïeve … by the way Market trens eduction denies this connection…interesting..

I have since found that this company markettrends.education have gone out of there way to assist me, contact me in a very caring and professional manner. Credit where credit is due. This is a genuine company that truly cares about its customers. Their integrity shouldn’t be in question at all. In my opinion there name is very important to them and it’s not there fault if someone somehow takes your hard earned money, but I can guarantee it’s not this company. They offer you education through many different ways and I would recommend to anyone who want to learn about crypto etc. 👍

Although I couldn't make use of the package I purchased I must say that I was impressed with the efficient way in which my request was handled.

Total scammers. Do not ever invest a cent here. Once you pay your $250 you are contacted and pressured to invest which I did. Fake trading platform showing profits, constantly being called and pressured to invest more.
As soon as you request to withdraw funds they show fake losses on fake trades and refuse to allow you to take your funds claiming they are locked into contracts. Refuse to answer calls and continue to lie lie lie. Do not ever sign up or invest here.
Update: Thanks for your response below. and I will be requesting a refund however that goes nowhere to refunding the lost funds deposited to prosbits and their false traders and platform that have stolen my money.
You are all connected as confirmed by other people who have been burned by responding to your fake ads on facebook to lure people into your fake education.
You facebook page is a dead giveaway with reviews of constant harrassment just like us and very few followers or likes. And your website host is the same as prosbits/probits. You should be shut down and forced to pay back every cent you have stolen.

I bought the basic course and realized later that this is an educational platform only and does not offer trading recommendations. I requested a refund and was issued one. I don't quite understand where the bad reviews are coming from.

Pretty good course. Also they have Great Support with fast responses.

Markettrends have refunded my deposit of $250 US (and I now thank them) as I was dealing with two other companies called Venus.Fx and Yuan Pay Group for an investment account but somehow these funds ended up being depositws to Markettrends per my Canadian TD bank credit card account. Again I now thank Markettrends for refunding my deposit. However, they should explain how my funds ended up with their company.
The shady companies involved in this smoke and mirrors transaction are as follows:
The Senior Account Mgr. for Venus.fx represented by a Mr. Chris Thompson at telephone no. 442081766241, East Sussex, UK BN3 4FN . This is the person (and probably a phony name) who I emailed a copy of my Ontario Canada drivers lic. (silly me) along with a copy of the back of my TD visa credit card. I sent it but with the security code blanked out.

I do not know how or why my $250 was deposited to Markettrends as I did not deposit this money for educational training. Originally I thought I was dealing with a 3rd company called Vastwealth/Admirria UK where I deposited $250 US on Dec. 17, 2022 ( this is the first $250) for the purpose of starting to trade in Crypto which I never ended up doing. On Dec.19, 2022 I was contacted by telephone 442030068431 asking for $250 US to setup the account and I paid it by credit card a 2nd time. I few days later I had medical issues and I contacted both companies asking them to refund the deposits. One of the companies, Admirria did refund my first deposit of $250 US in first week of February 2023 maybe through the efforts of my credit card company going after them as I later in first week of January had two or three overseas charges to my card for $1.500 for Jewelry which was flagged and not authorized. Somehow Venus.fx and Yuan Pay Group got my telephone number in Canada and they got my 2nd Deposit of $250 US which ended up with Markettrends.
And I do thank Markettrends for the valuable lesson for an old fool who did not do his due diligence first rather than later.

Don't get involved in this SCAM i gave them money which they transferred to crypto-wallet.info which don't exist anymore and I can't log in my account.
