With the sudden onset of acute muscular back pain, and after a week of swallowing pain killers I rang Marple Physio on the recommendation of a family member.
Within 2 days I got an appointment and was seen by Cath Normansell who efficiently diagnosed my problem at set to work on exercises to help relieve my severe discomfort. After her professional help and advice, and just two sessions a week apart the pain started to abate. I was privately funding and found the fees extremely reasonable and money incredibly well spent.
Cannot thank and recommend Cath highly enough.

Attended Marple Physio for medial ligament damage. Thorough assessment by Carol, and then treatment in situ as well as suggestions for recovery at home. 4 sessions and well on the road to recovery. Everything clearly explained. Very friendly and professional

I've had a few sets of physio sessions with Liz for hip, knee and ankle problems and she's been amazing. She is able to offer a wide range of treatment options including acupuncture, massage, take-home exercises and gym sessions and her approach is geared towards empowering her clients to maintain their own health once sessions have ended. She's also a really kind, welcoming presence so while the reasons for going to see her are not much fun, the sessions I've had with her have been very pleasant!

Really great experience the last few times I've been here. Most recently, sorting out a muscular issue in my shoulder. Special mention to Holli - extremely professional approach to diagnosis, lots of listening and asking all the right questions to get to the cause. And super-relaxed and friendly during treatment.

From the first contact I received expert advice and reassurance. I had physio pre and post operatively which helped me prepare and recover very quickly. Cath was fantastic and built my confidence. I was discharged early by the orthopaedic consultant as my range of movement was so good. Huge thanks to Cath and Marple Physio.

I have used the Practice on two separate occasions. Both experiences were excellent, as were the Physiotherapists. Everything explained clearly and easy to follow exercises.

Had a programme of post lumbar fusion rehab physio with Liz. I was anxious about moving my back, I was stiff and sore and had a lumpy surgery scar down my back. Liz was fantastic, she took me slowly through a programme of exercises and stretches, was aware of my nervousness and gently challenged me to extend my range of movements. Liz also tailored the programme to my hobbies and activities, so the experience was based around my lifestyle. The online personal portal was really helpful with videos and reminders of the programme exercises. There were also acupuncture and sports massage sessions which were excellent too. I would thoroughly recommend Marple Physiotherapy and Liz to anyone wanting advice or treatment. Superb personalised and knowledgeable care. Helped me get my life back - thank you.

Over the last 6 months, I have been receiving post operative treatment for my lower back from Marple Physio. After a rocky start, with Nicky’s persistence, I am beginning to feel the benefit and have been able to reduce painkillers considerably. With some input from Liz, I have been given great exercises to do at home complemented by Nicky’s amazing therapy. Thank you so much.

I'm a keen hillwalker but was struggling with knee and ankle problems. Nicky took time to understand and diagnose the issues and then methodically worked on them over the course of 3 months - with ultrasound and a range of exercises. Both conditions are now much improved and I'm back on the hills. I have no hesitation in recommending her and her colleagues at Marple Physiotherapy.

Superb service from highly professional and caring people. My son had a lower back sports injury which was quickly diagnosed and treated and got him back on the pitch a few days later after a single appointment. He was given exercises to do to strengthen his back and stop recurrence and they seem to be working well. I would highly recommend Marple Physio.

I saw Nicky for pain in my c section scar which was affecting me on a daily basis. She was great at coming up with different treatments (exercises, physical manipulation and a cream) which have improved the pain I was experiencing.
