Amazing, Amazing & Amazing.!!!!

Honestly mere words are not enough to describe the knowledge, support, advice and brilliance which Lina and Sabina brought to our the whole wedding experience in Sicily - they are both exceptional as People and at what they do.

Taking the two of us from feeling daunted, out of our depth and overwhelmed...to having the most unforgettable wedding we could have ever hoped for was so much down to these two fabulous ladies.

Lina walking us, step by step through all the stages and paperwork in the lead up and then Sabina being a force of nature when we arrived in Sicily, sorting permits, the police, restaurants caterers, helpful tips and recommendations, basically taking all the stress away and allowing us to really take in, enjoy and appreciate the amazing location and allow us to truly be in the moment on our big day.

The icing on the cake (Sabina sorted the Cake too.!!!) was having Sabina conduct the first English speaking ceremony in castellammare del golfo, outside, in the gardens, overlooking the harbour (her suggestion too) exceptional.

We cannot recommend Lina & Sabina enough, having them on our team was one of the best decisions we made..I'll give 6 stars as five doesn't seem enough.

Lina and the team, did a fantastic job planning my proposal in Taormina, honestly couldn’t have done it all by myself. From booking the venue, restaurant and vendors it was seaming-less. Very professional all across. Thank you again Lina!

Working with Sabina and Lina was truly a wonderful experience. They are an incredible team whose communication, guidance, knowledge, and honest opinions were invaluable throughout our entire wedding planning journey.

Nothing was ever too much trouble. If we wanted to explore a different quote or didn’t quite connect with a particular vendor, they always had plenty of alternatives for us to consider. It really felt like they were committed to helping us find exactly the right fit for our day.

Our journey began with a phone call with Lina, and we instantly felt that she understood us as a couple — especially after speaking with a few other planners previously. Shortly afterwards, we had the pleasure of doing a venue tour with them, where we met Sabina in person. It quickly became clear how well they work together as a team.

Planning a wedding in Sicily can be quite different from planning one in Ireland or the UK, particularly in terms of expectations and what venues typically provide. Sabina and Lina were fantastic at helping us navigate this, making sure we clearly communicated what we wanted so everything came together perfectly on the day.

They were phenomenal in helping us organise both our legal and religious ceremonies in Cefalù. From sourcing an English-speaking priest to ensuring all our legal and religious documentation was in order, they made what could have been a very complicated process feel completely seamless.

They also helped coordinate so many other important details — from post-ceremony drinks and guest transport from the airport, to transfers to and from the venue — always ensuring our guests were well looked after.

They even helped us plan a fantastic Day Two celebration, which made the whole wedding experience even more special.

By the end of the process, we hadn’t just planned our dream wedding — we had also gained two lifelong friends.

Lina and Bina were absolutely brilliant from the beginning of the wedding planning process. We had a guest in a wheelchair so mobility and steps were a big concern, as well as keeping our guests entertained and ensuring everything we had envisaged could be done. They both made sure there was no stone unturned and were very responsive - we really couldn’t have had our dream wedding without them

We worked with Lina to help plan our wedding in Sicily, and we had a positive experience. She guided us through the legal process of getting married in Italy, which can be tricky, and helped make sure all the necessary paperwork and appointments were handled properly. That was a huge help and gave us peace of mind.

Lina also assisted in finding a suitable venue and managed communication with the vendors — things like catering, flowers, and photography. Her counter part in Sicily Sabina was able to manage all of our vendors and relay what we wanted.
Lina and Sabina have trusted vendors but were also happy to work with vendors I found and did their due diligence before we worked with them which was great!

Lina was responsive and made sure things came together in the end.

We’re grateful for her support in making our destination wedding happen and would recommend her for couples looking for planning help in Italy!

When we decided we wanted to get married in Ortigia, the next step was to find someone help us plan our perfect day. Lina (based in UK) and Sabina (in Sicily) were the perfect partnership. Lina guided us through all of the paperwork and UK requirements and then Sabina picked up seamlessly in Sicily. Our day was absolutely perfect - everything was organised to perfection. It was just the two of us - and the witnesses and photographer who the ladies recommended and booked were wonderful - they were incredibly kind and just made everything perfect. We honestly couldn't have had it go any better. No question (wedding or not wedding related) was any bother and replies/advice brilliant and quickly received. And, on top of that, we had to rearrange a number of times due to COVID - nothing was too much bother to reorganise and Lina and Sabina were very kind and understanding as we decided on new dates and when we felt comfortable to proceed. Highly recommend!

What can I say!
Lina was brilliant, from our initial meeting - I knew she was the wedding planner for us. She took on board what we wanted & flew with our ideas. I am Sicilian and although I love our culture, we had found some of the venues we’d looked at too over the top & dated. Lina understood the ‘brief’ & boy did she deliver. I felt completely calm knowing our needs were understood. Lina ensured all the finer details were taken care of. I felt comfortable to contact marrymeinsicily - no matter how big or small the matter was. Lina truly understood what we were looking for.
I can’t recommend these ladies enough & I'm hoping I can persuade Lina to plan our christening in Sicily too.

5 stars does not do Lina and Sabina justice, they were more then excellent, they were beyond my expectations. They were so attentive with all of our requests and sourced every single one. Always responsive so we never felt any distance. They have truly made this a day to remember for us and our guests.

What can I say about Marry me In Sicily except for if you go with another planner then your crazy!
Both Lina and Sabina are amazing superwomen!
I don’t think you can find a company more organised and caring.
Lina lives in the UK and understood what we wanted from the first email.
She is consistently working to ensure everything was planned to perfection.
On the day Lina ana Sabina and the team were amazing. Every detail and we mean EVERY detail was perfect!!!
They are worth every penny and even saved us money on so many items!!
We love you both so very much , you have become life long friends and we can’t thank you enough for all you did for us and our guests.

Both Lina and Sabina did an absolutely amazing job of orgainising our wedding in Sicily. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, they were always an email/phonecall away whenever we had an questions. They took the stress out of arranging a wedding and we truly couldn’t have done it without them! If you are thinking about getting married in Sicily, I couldn’t recommend this company enough, I wouldn’t use any one else! These ladies are wedding angels!

We can not thank Lina and Sabina enough for all their help in planning our wedding. We had constant contact either via email,message or phone calls for well over 2years which made our planning,booking and organising of our big day so much easier.
Lina and Sabina assisted us with all aspects of our wedding,venue bookings,legal paperwork,florist,suppliers,transport for guests,translation ... the list goes on!!!!
Due to weather on the day of our wedding we had to postpone our start time for 2hrs,this was seamlessly executed by Lina and Sabina so much so that the later time worked out better for everybody.

We can't thank you both enough for planning our day with us, all our guests commented how fantastic and friendly you were also and how amazing our wedding was.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience..the girls' wealth of knowledge and professionalism put us at ease throughout and the language barrier was never evident due to the great job Sabina did whilst in ortigia and syracusa. We have just got back from our wedding in Sicily, we did a lot of the organising ourselves but we needed help with the legal aspects. The Marry me in Sicily team helped by advising us what legal paperwork was required, they organised translation of the documents and a translator at the ceremony itself. We were the first British/Foreign couple to get married in the particular location we chose, and the team talked the staff at the local Town Hall through what was needed and made the whole process perfectly smooth and easy. Thanks for all your help we had an amazing day!

Getting married abroad wouldn't have been possible without Marry me in Sicily!

From our very first conversation the team were amazing and helped us throughout the preparations for the day of our wedding, going above and beyond.

Their Sicilian heritage and their knowledge of British customs made them the perfect team to coordinate the wedding surpassing our expectations while navigating through the local idiosyncrasies. They were in constant communication with us throughout and made the selection of flower arrangements, photographers, and so on, seamless and straight forward. Even flying out to help us in Sicily when we travelled to meet some of the suppliers.

They have a "can do" attitude which cannot be shadowed even by the G7 summit and the whole town being closed to everybody, until hours before the wedding. Their vast network of local contacts was key to solve any issue that we came across, even in short notice.

Their knowledge of the Italian legal procedures and the local council requirements is second to none and they were not deterred to also tackle the Spanish legal system in order to help us get everything sorted and on time.

Amazing service throughout, no words do true justice to the quality and dedication to their job, to our wedding. By the time we walked to the city council to get married, they felt already like family to us.

The team at marry me in Sicily were just fantastic and we honestly couldn't have had the day we dreamed of if it wasn't for the knowledge and support that they provided.

We had a very strong vision of the type of day we wanted and wanted our guests to experience everything we loved about Sicily. Although not the easiest day to organise as we were in lots of different locations the team at marryme in Sicily ensured everything ran smoothly.

Contact with the team from start to finish was fantastic we felt we had guidance and always felt that we could ask any questions. As we are based in the UK the local knowledge of the team from vendors, transport companies and legal documentation was amazing.

Honestly couldn't have done it without them, and would highly recommend anyone to contact Lina, Gaia and Sabina if you are thinking about getting married in Sicily.

My partner and I had recently booked a holiday in Sicily and then thought how lovely it would be to get married while on holiday as we will be celebrating 30 years together this year it seemed ideal. But we only had 2 months to arrange it.
I contacted Lina and explained the situation and she gave us loads of advice and told us about the legal side here in the UK unfortunately we had not got enough time to have the bands read etc here but I would have used Marrymeinsicily to plan everything for us if I could have arranged everything in time.
Lina was friendly, knowledgeable about the UK process and replied quickly to all my emails, I would definitely recommend.

We were married in Castelbuono in October 2016 and used Marrymeinsicily to help us organise the event. Lina was superb. She gave us options for our base and for the ceremony. Both turned out to be spectacular. She also guided us through the legalities both at home and in Sicily. This can be quite nerve-wracking but Lina's experience proved essential to having all the paperwork in place.
Lina was always available to help with any issues which cropped up as we planned our wedding. She was determined that our "big day" would be wonderful - and it was. She came to Sicily and met us the day before the ceremony to make sure everything was in place. She attended our wedding
and arranged for our marriage certificate to be available for us to take home.
Sicily is a beautiful, romantic place to get married. If you are thinking about getting married there, the Marrymeinsicily will ensure that the day is everything you would want it to be.
