Excellent Booking Process
Laurie has been exceptional, quickly putting together an itinerary within our budget, absolutely no hard sell and really listened to what we are after. Really personal service which is rare these days! If the trip itself continues with this high standard we will be very happy indeed! The only minor point I would note is they don't take Amex which is a shame but understand and appreciate this is to manage their cost base.

I saw an advert on Facebook for Marvellous Escapes. After looking at their website and checking on reviews, saw a holiday I was interested in. My dealings with the company so far have been very impressive and Olivia has been incredibly helpful. So much so, that we booked our 40th wedding anniversary trip last night and are looking forward to it immensely.

Great planning experience
Olivia has helped me plan a tour of Italy to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and our birthdays. We wanted to visit numerous cities and I had some very specific requests.
Following my initial telephone conversation with Olivia she produced a very detailed itinerary and it was clear she had totally understood the holiday I wanted and had also included a couple of extras I had not requested to make it even more special.
We then had several conversations to tweak the itinerary and I now have a fantastic holiday to look forward to.
Although I haven’t taken the trip yet it is reassuring to know there will be 24/7 support if needed and I can now relax and look forward to the holiday if a lifetime

Switzerland and the Glacier Express
Just had the most Amazing holiday in Switzerland, including travelling in Excellence Class on the Glacier Express. Fantastic experience with delicious food and paired wines, wonderful attentive staff and of course the most breathtaking scenery. Our entire trip was booked with the lovely Hayley, and thanks to her personal knowledge and recommendations to suit our wishes (and budget) she had our flights, hotels ...The Wellenberg in Zurich, Tradition Julen in Zermatt (family run and our personal favourite...fab spa and gym) to the Steffani in St. Moritz,
train itinerary and so much more, all sorted within a couple of hours. Staff everywhere couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful, and the trains/buses in Switzerland run like clockwork. Nothing was too much trouble and no question unanswered. Thanks Hayley and all at Marvellous Escapes.

Booked a bespoke railway travel holiday…
Booked a bespoke railway travel holiday through Switzerland, Laurie was amazing and booked everything for the 3 of us, her knowledge of Switzerland meant we managed to visit the best places, staying at lovely hotels, and got more than we dreamed off in this beautiful country, everything went smoothly from start to finish, Highly recommend marvellous escapes, no doubt we will be using in the future again.

From the moment we made an enquiry to experiencing the holiday itself, it has been a 5 star experience. Hayley responded to all our queries patiently and promptly, as it was the first time for us to travel via train to Switzerland. She even recommended and provided tips and advice on where to eat at different stops. The hotels she booked were marvellous and fulfilled all our requirements. We had the most amazing holiday celebrating my husband's 60th birthday because Marvellous Escape was very detailed in their planning(even to choosing our seats on the Bernina express and other trains) and their organisation was simply amazing. To be able to communicate via WhatsApp when you are travelling is so helpful when you are travelling, so thank you to Hayley and the overall Marvellous Escape team (also Paul). I can't thank them enough for a memorable experience!
