Just had Joe, Bobby and Shawn (Masterseal) to do my patio, side passage and driveway in Delight (colour) in resin and it has been a complete transformation. They are a polite, friendly team and explained what work would be happening each day. Happy to recommend.

Due to my sister sharon having her new driveway, she recommended this company to me. I have to concur with her recommendations of the company, the workmen and quality of the work and finish. I do not hesitate in any recommendations made, the sales team explained everything to me and with confidence I went forward. Glad that I did, my drive looks and is amazing. I recommend people to NOT use this company. The rep came round the house around 10th april to give us the sales pitch and we agreed that master seal would do the work. A date was set for 21st may. Nobody turned up. I rang them and they apologised and set another date for 10th June. On 28th May I rang to request my deposit back because I had lost any faith I had in the company, only to be told it's past the 2 weeks that we legally have to give you it back. Of course it was, how was I to know that nobody would turn up on the original booking?
Anyway, I got absolutely nowhere with them and they failed to show twice more.
They eventually subbied out the job to a firm from Leeds who were very professional and all round good lads, in contrast to the staff at master seal. So the job was completed 3 months after the reps visit. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
I have posted this review twice on their FB adverts. They have now blocked me and I presume deleted the reviews.

Masterseal were recommended to us by friends and we can see why. The final result is outstanding and has blown us away. From a muddy/boggy lawn, Masterseal transformed it into an area that the whole family can enjoy.

The service provided by the whole team was exceptional. This began with scoping and planning of the design with Alec Radford where ideas were bounced around for what design and colours would work best followed by a comprehensive overview of the process and pricing. The preparation and final process to lay the resin was planned in around our building work and this was completed by Shawn and the team who completed the work professionally and efficiently and were a pleasure to have around leaving the place clean and tidy afterwards.

I would recommend Masterseal to friends and family and we are even considering having our driveway done too in the near future.

Alec the salesperson was very informative and transparent, and made the ordering process easy and stress free. The people who laid the new driveway clearly are very good at their work as well. The result is that we have a lovely looking extended driveway that is already getting compliments from the locals who have seen it. Nice one!

We have just had our front driveway and side passage done in resin bound gravel and the immediate difference is huge.
The onsite team were excellent, led by Shawn, and carried out preparations professionally and tidily.
Installation of the resin surface was somewhat hampered by bad weather but I was kept informed of the process throughout the job.
We now have a very smart driveway that will hopefully last for many years.

The team were friendly and very efficient.

Carried out all works professionally

I had a salesman (Dave) come round and survey the driveway as we wanted to have a resin drive.
We agreed that we liked what we heard, but as it was late October 2023, due to it being winter and they are not being able to lay the resin in cold weather, we agreed to have the work done at a date to be decided, and they would contact us again in March 2024.

To guarantee the today price, I was asked to pay a £3000 upfront deposit, which was fully refundable should I decide not to have the work done as long as the groundwork hadn't started. Dave, the salesman, called the owner and confirmed that if we were to pay the deposit today (5 months before we agreed on the actual work), it was fully refundable up until the work started. This was confirmed over the phone, and we could hear the full conversation as we were sitting next to Dave in our living room.

After hearing this, I was happy to hand over the deposit based only on the fact that it was fully refundable.

In early 2024, my personal situation changed, and as a precaution, I decided not to go ahead with the driveway. When I contacted MasterSeal Solutions, the owner, Richard, said he was sorry to hear that, but the contract I had signed was a legally binding document, and I had a 14-day cooling-off period from signing the contract to ask for my money back. (The very small print on the back that is hardly legible has a 14-day cooling-off period comment on it.).

So MasterSeal Solutions expects you / me to give them £3000 for doing absolutely nothing after they agreed to give a 100% full refund if I change my mind and they had not started work, we hadn't even agreed on the colour of the resin for my drive yet.? They lied to me and now i am in a fight to get my money back, and things are getting ugly.

This has been some weeks now, and I am currently taking them to court to try to get my £3000 deposit back.

My personal situation has been delayed by another 9 months. Mainly due to the consultation period and more security of work.

I have now decided to go ahead, and have the drive completed by another company. We are so happy with the work that's been done, and the team that did the work who were friendly, reliable, and did an amazing job.

Last week, MasterSeal Solutions sent one of their bullyboys round to my house who tried to intimidate me about the court case. He didn't have any affect other than to make me even more determined to make sure that nobody has to face the treatment I have had from them.

I can't speak for anyone else, only my personal experience. I've never commented on Trustpilot before, only maybe to give praise for good work and recommend people.
But when money is so hard to come by these days, it hurts when somebody expects you to hand over £3000 and then con you out of that with a small print.
I believe this isn't the only time this has happened, so maybe others will come forward now. My advice is to look around and do your due diligence. There are lots of companies that do this type of work, this is one I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

I'm posting this only as a warning to others. I hate bullies and also liars, and I've found both working at MasterSeal Solutions.

Superb is the word. From start to finish. Excellent communications throughout, arrived as arranged. Went above and beyond with the work on site. All the guys were helpful and polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Scott managed the project and made sure we were happy throughout. Definitely recommend these guys and the finish is awesome. Really pleased.

Need to say a big thank you to Greg who came out to quote for our drive and patio . Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all questions .we found him to be a very warm and approachable person and by no means pushy! Obviously everyone needs their sales but there is a right way to achieve this withought making people uncomfortable . I am sure he is a great asset to the company .

The end result is great and we are very happy with our new driveway. The old drive was removed and extended and looks so much smarter than before.
During the process, at the end of each day, any rubbish, old tarmac and soil was taken away and left tidy. Although it took longer than usual to finish our new driveway, this was purely due to the rain! Unfortunately, the garage frame was damaged as the old tarmac was being removed, but this was replaced a few days after the new driveway had been completed, once the weather had improved. Customer service was great, and if we had any queries, they were dealt with promptly. I would recommend this company, the customer service and the product. Thank you 🙂

Well what a fantastic job! This is the second time we’ve had Masterseal do work for us, first was 2 years ago which was a large driveway and it still looks fantastic to this day, this time was a patio area which Scot and his team undertook, from start to finish they carried out the job to a very high standard with no mess, we would highly recommend these guys without hesitation

Fantastic work, in and out in 5 days.
From measurement, to preparing and completing the job, they were professional and excellent.

After debating to go for block paving or a resin driveway, my parents decided on the resin due to it being low maintenance and they wanted a sleek even finish to match the exterior of the house. We researched local companies and reached out to Master Seal Solutions LTD who had been recommended by a neighbour.

A friendly chap called Alec came and quoted the job. He explained everything well, giving us a time frame and what the job would entail. He also showed us the different colours available which would match with the house. He was able to give us an exact start date, so we went ahead.

We weren’t disappointed. Everything went to plan as they said, and they turned up
bright and early on the start date, working hard to make sure it was laid to perfection.

The driveway looks amazing, and the service was first class from start to finish. We would highly recommend this company,

Master seal used a contractor called Rose Resins they were excellent especially John who was very helpful and his team did an excellent job very professional would recommend them to anybody.
