Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. Had a guest stay with me. Just got out of hospital. Having organ failure. Slept on couch. Urinated all over the couch. Mathis brothers sold me protect all warrant for clean and replace. Protect all is located in Texas , total scam. Been almost 5 weeks since report of couch to Mathis brother and protect all , have had technician out twice now , still massive stain, starting to worry about catching pneumonia from the stain. They said they need me to wait another week. Today I told them having junk removal truck remove the couch. Said I am not risking my health anymore for their “process”. They said if I do that they will not replace the couch. Will never use Mathis brother again, do not buy their warrant that they will push on you. Absolutely disgusting

Terrible Customer Service and Misleading Practices!

My experience with Mathis Home has been extremely disappointing! They proudly promote a 10-year warranty, yet when I tried to file a complaint less than one year after purchase, I was flat-out dismissed. Their excuse? They “no longer sell that mattress brand,” so apparently that means they no longer take responsibility. That’s not how warranties are supposed to work.

What made it worse was the complete lack of care from top management. No follow-up, no accountability, no effort to resolve the issue, just indifference. If this is how they treat customers once the sale is done, that says a lot.

On top of that, their rewards system feels like a rip-off. They sell items at inflated prices that you can easily find on Amazon for much less. I only realized this because the products were literally delivered in Amazon boxes. Seriously, can you imagine discovering you overpaid just because the packaging gave it away?

Overall, misleading warranties, poor customer service, and a rewards program that doesn’t reward customers at all. I won’t be shopping here again, and I wouldn’t recommend Mathis Home to anyone who expects support after the purchase.

I won’t be shopping at your store!

Went to Mathis Furniture and was going to buy a sofa! Well it was going to cost $299 dollars for delivery that is insane! Plus they want to have you purchase a membership of a $139 to get the special pricing. So I am already at $438 dollars before I add on the price of the sofa! Mathis Furniture you lost my business!

Bought a couch from mathis brothers and had it delivered but they wanted three hundred dollars just to carry it in the house no way I will never buy nothing there again there would have been no problem getting it inside a one story home

Please stay away from here!!!! 3700$ wasted on furniture that has been broke since the day it was delivered. Same problem over and over and have had it supposedly fixed 3 times and all they want to do now is stuff the seat with material to try and fix the back from leaning sideways on both of my recliners!!!!! That is a waste and will not fix it at all. One of my recliners the actual frame was broke. And all they did was screw a small piece of board to it to repair that. I submitted with BBB TO GET REFUND OR EVEN STORE CREDIT to get better furniture not anything that is made by Ashely. Then they are so sneaky at 4:30pm we get a text about an appt to pick up our furniture to repair it when we had talked to nobody and then they messaged the BBB today and tried to say they have an appt to fix this scheduled!!!!! It’s supposed to have been fixed 3 times already. I have never dealt with people that were so underhanded and sneaky like this. Just please I want you to all know they do not care about customer satisfaction and they will be sneaky to try and look good when they aren’t. Just go anywhere else but here but if you go here do NOT buy any Ashley furniture. We have two oversized recliners with duct tape and bubble gum holding them together and randomly we have bolts that just drop out of these things but the guy at Mathis brothers thinks the fourth time of putting some material in the seat will fix the back from leaning sideways!!!!!

Terrible Customer / Delivery Service!!!

Mathis Brothers sells their own furniture and furniture of others. Caution! They wash their hands if there’s an issue with the other furniture they sell. It’s hard to tell online whether or not you are buying from Mathis. Our delivery is missing and / or delayed. Customer Service response: “Oh that’s on our website, but we aren’t really the vendor. We can’t help you.” Seriously? Unacceptable!!

Get ready to wait forever and to be reamed for the pleasure . Bought a rug. it arrived late and looked nothing like the image on their site. 15% restocking fee and had to pay for return shipping. Customer service ( if you really wanna stretch reality and call it that ) is painfully and intentionally slow.

Don't buy plush couch cushions

Sales person did not tell us the difference between plush and firm couch cushions. We choose plush because it sounded more comfortable. Feathers stick you everywhere. Feathers all over front room. Worst of all when you get off cushion it like an elephant was sitting there. Big dent that has to be brushed out

The bed was not the same as on the show…

The bed was not the same as on the show room floor. Nobody would buy a bed this weird and fd up.. It's just all wrong. It sits ten inches away from the wall.was Missing parts when delivered. The headboard is stupidly high for a twin. My parents were sold a bunkie board that wasn't needed. They apparently didn't have anything but a firm in stock. i don't look forward to going to bed any more because I don't sleep much anymore. Most uncomfortable bed ever. I feel groggy and bruised in the morning. I've got 3 different toppers but still sucks. Maybe I'll try without that dumb ass board. Seriously, the bed has slats. Mattress is hard as a rock. Board not needed. Can't even return - was told to us by the DELIVERY GUYS!! I'm laying here awake in bed as usual. My head, my neck, my back is aching so badly, it wasn't before I lied in bed. It's 3:18am I haven't slept since I got the bed, I've been depressed from lack of sleep and my right hand has been numb and tingling

Free delivery is a total lie

Free delivery is a total lie. I asked twice, both the store manager and salesman said delivery was free. After leaving the store I noticed a charge of $179 for delivery. The furniture was placed in front of my garage door which is considered a free curbside drop off delivery. Very sneaky, unprofessional, and thievery. I'll never step into a Mathis Brothers establishment ever again.

Cameron and Tanner in Truck #32 did an awesome job carrying my huge sofa up four flights of stairs and into my apartment…. I definitely recommend using Ashley furniture and Mathis for future purchases. I will be getting more furniture from them forsure!!!

What a disappointing experience this…

What a disappointing experience this turned out to be. While the in-store shopping and interaction with the salesperson were positive, it was completely overshadowed by the poor performance of the delivery team. Despite arranging for inside delivery with the salesperson (not set up, just inside rop off) , the delivery team was unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to move the boxes just two feet beyond the front door.
This was especially frustrating given that this was my third purchase from the store, with a total value exceeding $20,000. To make matters worse, when I called the store to address the issue, the salesperson I had worked with was unavailable. The sales manager, who initially promised to call me back, failed to follow through. When I finally managed to reach her, instead of resolving the problem, she made the situation worse with excuses. While she was polite, her lack of experience in handling customer concerns was apparent.
In the end, I decided to cancel both my current order and an upcoming one. Their claims of "free delivery" are misleading—the service falls far short of expectations.

Purchased a leather sectional 2 years…

Purchased a leather sectional 2 years ago with the protection plan after salesman insisted it covered breakdown of fabric and couch cushions this was a total lie that I did not discover for 2 years!!! Please use caution when dealing with Mathis Brothers they push salesman so hard for sales the salesman lie

I have a $6000 mattress purchased about…

I have a $6000 mattress purchased about 18 months ago. I was informed of the ability to basically purchase a warranty by purchasing a cover which we did.

In the short time we have had this mattress we noticed as we rotated it that one corner was dipping so we monitored it and then requested a warranty replacement. We were granted the replacement and when the team brought the new mattress they said they found a tear in the underside of the mattress thus voiding the warranty. we moved less than 4 months ago and there was no tear at that point. Regardless this little tear is not any relation or causation to the dipping of the mattress and failure of the mattress structure.

Mathis is denying the replacement and voiding the warranty at this point due to the tear.

I cant for the life of me understand why they wouldn't cover it especially due to the 10's of thousands I have spent there.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THEM AGAIN PERIOD UNLESS THEY HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!

Horrible company at this point

Mathis Brother's going downhill

Mathis Brother's sent different chairs than what was on the sale's floor, also the chairs had mold on them! The measurements were even different than the sales floor chair. Who in their right mind is willing to pay $1700 per chair with mold & smaller in size. We're not small people. Why have that specific chair on the sales floor if it's not actually available? Now they've sent the wrong rug. So I'm writing this on behalf of my mother who is not pleased with Mathis Brother's furniture & quite frankly I'm not either. We've bought furniture from them for years. Now when you walk inside it almost looks like a consignment store. The furniture is all bland, dull & looks the same. There's no variety in craftsmanship, hardly anything unique. Nothing worth looking at upstairs like back in 2012. No gaming area. It's a shock but like everything in the world of today, it's more about money than actual quality. It's not the same Mathis Brother's it used to be.

I would not give even 1 star if that…

I would not give even 1 star if that was possible. We bought a special order lazy boy recliner for my husband. It was supposed to be brown, but when we got it, it looked like a dark green. They said the dye could have had something to do with it. They finally took it back and we replaced it with another lazy boy in a chocolate color, which worked well, but this recliner was not made well for a "special order." One of the arms was not fully stuffed. You could grab the material in your hand and there was a hole in the fabric under the arm on the other side! We also ask that they would add more stuffing in the leg rest when we ordered the second chair, but that didn't happen and it didn't get done when we sent back. Again, this was a special order. We are so disappointed for the lack of customer service. We will never buy from Mathis Brothers again.

Mathis Brothers they are refusing to…

Mathis Brothers they are refusing to refund me money they are already have been paid and refunded by the manufacture company jonathan louis. They are leaving me without furniture and no refund. I have several concerns about this product, nails come out, My grandkids come over occasionally and got injured with possible nails that might have rust. Mathis Brothers is being sneaky and trying to come up with the furniture. They will not refund my money without picking up the furniture from me and leaving me without a sofa and empty home and with no refund. JonahtanLouis have already fully refunded and paid them why would they want to pick up a furniture that is not even theirs anymore since it’s a Jonahtanlouis property. In my opinion they are being sneaky and trying to make more money from a product that actually should be disposed due to possible more injury and risk to others.

Per our conversation they got their money refunded they have not lost nothing not a penny they should refund my money in full.

I have two grandkids that have been injured and scared for life from the furniture negligence on the proper way of placing nails with the nails coming through the fabric, wood and material.
Negligence from Mathis Brothers with refilling the cushions when issues happened making it the most uncomfortable sofa. Negligence from Mathis Brothers Risk Management in every way on addressing the issues.

i ordered an ourdoor dining set

i ordered an ourdoor dining set, 6 pc. They took my money and stated delivery in 2-3 weeks.($2300.00) Then several days later it was unavaiable, so I charged
another one, which naturally they took my money, this time it was an 8 pc $ 2700 item.

then guess what, unviable two days later.
so two tables purchased and paid for. ZERO tables delivered, and not no credit back on my credit card.

must be nice to screw your customers and use the float on US Treasuries to make money of of innocent customers..
never again!!!
