I wasn't sure how well my daughter would engage with a tutor, but since the start, she's been focused and never once moaned about an impending session. She found the sessions interesting, held her attention and very, very useful. Pete supplied lots of resources and support in the run-up to GCSEs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Pete has helped both my daughters with their maths studies and he has made a real difference both in terms of their confidence with the subject and their achievements.

We first started working with Pete with my oldest daughter, who had developed a real mental block about maths. After working with Pete she was able to take her maths GCSE with some confidence and achieved a decent grade (she reckons that his tuition made at least 2-3 grades difference).

My younger daughter has just taken her GCSE (we're waiting for the result with fingers crossed) - she will now go on to take maths at A-level.

I can only thank Pete for his patience and structured way of working, which has really helped to make the subject much easier to understand. I cannot recommend his tuition highly enough!!

I would thoroughly recommend Pete to anyone looking for a Maths Tutor.
On two previous attempts at GCSE Maths my daughter got a Grade 3. She was low in confidence and motivation for her third attempt. Luckily we found Pete in January this year. He was exactly what she needed. He explained Maths in a way she could understand and made the sessions fun.
I am confident that my daughter will achieve her Grade 4 this time round. I just wish we had found him a year earlier. Don't delay, book Pete today!

Pete has tutored both of my daughters and has made a massive difference to their understanding of maths and their GCSE results. He has an uncanny ability to get the most out of grumpy teenagers first thing in the morning (7:30 sessions) with humour, positivity and genuine meaningful praise. He is able to pin point and understand the weakness and strengths of pupils and to tailor his tutoring to close the gaps and build on the foundations of any knowledge to create a real understanding of maths. Both my daughters felt confident going into their exams and wanted to do their best which was a massive improvement on feeling so overwhelmed that they thought they would fail without even starting. One daughter is now taking maths for Alevel! I can't recommend Pete enough! He is a maths angel!

Pete has been a huge source of support and inspiration for my son during his A Levels. Pete is an excellent maths tutor he knows how to strike the right balance between support and challenge. He breaks down tricky concepts into clear, manageable steps, pushes our daughter to think harder and stretch her abilities.

His patient approach and knack for explaining things have made a huge difference, and his (wonderfully terrible!) maths jokes keeps her lessons fun and relaxed, she always comes out of a lesson with a smile on her face.

Pete has been teaching both of my sons for the past couple of years. He has made the most incredible difference to both of them, as they were both very behind, and struggling with the mainstream school environment. The patience and commitment he shows to them week after week is outstanding, and best of all, they actually look forward to his lessons!

We are extremely pleased with the support Peter has provided for our daughter, she has made great progress in such a short time. Pete tutored my daughter for her GSCEs and she passed thanks to his help.
He was encouraging and engaging and she really didn’t mind the lessons. She’s not naturally a child that likes academic learning so I was worried she wouldn’t stick to it but she did and she got on well with Pete.

My son had Pete as his tutor for the year running up to his A level as he was struggling with maths a little. He needed to get a minimum of a B grade in maths for his first choice of university. Pete explained maths so well after the first session my son was buzzing for maths again! My son achieved his B in maths and I don’t think he could have done this without Pete’s help!
