Avoid At All Costs
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Mattenprofis (via Amazon.de) has been so poor that others deserve a clear warning.
I ordered a set of rubber car mats costing over £50, only to be sent the wrong item. Mistakes happen—but what followed was completely unacceptable.
The seller agreed to a return, but provided no prepaid label, leaving me to pay over £12 out of pocket to send the mats back to Germany using a tracked and insured service. Even worse, they then refused to accept responsibility for the required duties and taxes on the return—despite the fact that the error was entirely theirs.
From that point on, communication simply stopped. No replies, no help, no accountability.
I was left with no option but to escalate the issue through Amazon’s A-to-Z Guarantee process just to recover my money.
This seller’s behaviour shows a complete disregard for basic customer service and consumer rights. If something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect them to take responsibility or even respond.
Avoid.
