Over 4 hours waiting for tires and inspection! Truly unacceptable! Then on top of that the Manager was very rude. Then go out to my car After they said it was fixed and the Manager said to come back Sunday morning at 9 am

I went to Mavis on Concord Parkway. When I say they make you feel welcome before you enter the door. The work that was done took less than 30 minutes. They still made you feel good and smiling going out the door. Will be returning soon.

My husband brought my 2021 Challenger into the Concord Location this morning. He got up early on a Sunday morning to get it done and have the rest of our Sunday to relax before the start of another work week. Well that backfired quickly, he got the oil change, filled it with gas and went to the car wash. When he got home he parked my car and then saw a puddle underneath it. Turns out that the vehicle had been leaking oil since he pulled out of the MAVIS location. He immediately called the store and requested a tow truck come get my vehicle and bring it back. While we were told 30-40 minutes from the Manager of MAVIS we waited around and then called the tow truck company who stated at that point 30-40 minutes from now. Ok so we wait even longer on our now not so peaceful Sunday placing 50 lb bag of cat little that I just bought yesterday ($20) all over our stained in oil driveway. Finally, truck shows up and the driver was quick to get the car up on the truck which at this point is now covered in oil as well and take it to the MAVIS. (Perfect service by LEBLEUS TOWING).
My husband and I follow my car to the location where we are met by the manager Dawn with a statement that has in fact made this situation much worse than it needed to be, she attempted to tell us that it would be impossible for the plug to have been left out of the vehicle as it would have leaked everywhere and that “maybe it has double gaskets”. Up to this point I was calm about the situation knowing that errors happen and had complete confidence that it would be fine. Unfortunately the fact that our interpretation of her remarks lead us to believe that she was trying to blame this situation on anything but her technicians inability to complete the job correctly.
Two technicians proceeded to start the task of diagnosing and fixing the problem. It appears that the oil cap was not placed on correctly or tightened and the plug was removable by hand (not tools). These two technicians were extremely professional and luckily were able to quickly calm us both down from the previous remarks made by the manager which made us feel like she was attempting to blame the situation on us.
Thank You to Damody(spelling error I’m sure) & Jaden for taking care of the situation. They took great care in attempting to clean the vehicle from all the oil on the underbelly and in the motor.
We did hear from the district manager today and have hopes that the driveway will be cleaned professionally as it is an utter mess. This wasted almost 4 hours of our Not So Peaceful Sunday. Accidents happen, the worst part of the day was the statements made by the manager. It’s not what you say IT IS HOW YOU SAY IT!!! In addition to the driveway getting cleaned I also believe we should be given a full refund for the oil change and reimbursed for the cat litter. This is the very least that I expect to rectify this inconvenience that is of no fault of ours. UPDATE- The Regional Manager has called and said he will have it taken care of tomorrow.

We are not satisfied at all! The commit ticket would be incorrect. I’m not sure who did that, neither my husband nor myself are satisfied. What I expect to resolve the situation is written earlier in this post.
