We go to Mavis on Gem Lake Rd for all our tire needs. They are always friendly, professional and fast.

Great service

I needed a new tire yesterday. I went to the Mavis Tires on Gem Lake Road in Amarillo. An angry woman came out and asked what I needed. I told her there was a screw in my tire. She looked at it and said "I'm not crawling on my hands and knees to look at that." Of course I didn't expect her to. She was extremely rude. She never once looked me in the face or said anything remotely courteous. Just marching around acting like she's super important. When she finally did speak to me all she said was: "Keys." And held her hand out. This woman is a cancer at your business. Thirty minutes later, they offered to sell me two new tires for $730. No thanks. There's too many places in town to get your tire changed. I've been going to this place for 15 years. I've brought probably five vehicles there. I'm sure I've spent tens of thousands of dollars in that place. And that one grumpy entitled woman has made me go to the trouble of finding somewhere else to go. Maybe you can retrain her. Or, I don't know, maybe that's the vibe you're going for. Find somewhere else to go in Amarillo. Don't let people treat you like that.

Oh, there's more. As I was leaving, it occurred to me I might have bought the warranty for the tire since I bought all my tires there. So I asked the guy, not wanting to speak to her anymore, if he could see if I had the warranty. She stormed over from across the room banged on the computer and said: "No. You didn't buy the warranty." If you want to be treated like that, go to Mavis Tire.

I would like to give a special thank you to Dylan. I was on the road traveling from Abilene, Tx. to Westminster, Co. and my outlets in my car would not charge my phone. He put in new fuses so I could charge my phone. I was by myself and heading out on roads that didn’t have anyone around to help me if I should brake down. With what is going on in the USA right now I wasn’t feeling very safe. It was so nice to have someone to help me. The business that sold me fuses was interested in helping me and sent me over to you. All the staff was very helpful and was sure Dylan could fix it for me. You have nice employees. Thanks again, Faye

mario did a wonderful job explaining to me why just a tire alignment wasn't enough because there's something wrong with my control arm, and also my tire rods were shot. I super appreciate him taking the extra time and explaining that to me and also offering me parts and labor to fix the problem as quickly as possible for a great price because I'm going out of town, he could not have been nicer and more helpful.ty
