I can confidently say that MDR has exceptional, highly experienced trainers who truly know how to deliver their courses effectively.

I completed my Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage course in February, and Melissa Coupland delivered it outstandingly. It’s an intensive course with limited time before the exam, but her teaching style made the material much easier to understand. The homework is absolutely essential—don’t underestimate it or put it off. Consistent practice really is the key to passing.

I received my results a few days ago and I’m happy to say I passed, so a big thank you to Melissa!

I also completed the TM Unlocked course with Tom Reddy last week, and I genuinely believe this course should be compulsory after the CPC. It provided invaluable insights, a deeper understanding, and plenty of practical resources for operating as a Transport Manager in the real world. Tom is an excellent trainer who shared a wealth of experience to help us succeed.

Lastly, Kevin Holmer (Managing Director) provided top-tier customer service and communication throughout. Any queries or issues I had were handled promptly, and I really appreciated the quick and helpful responses.

Outstanding trainer at the recent Transport Manager Unlocked course. There is no way you can effectively perform the TM role without attending this course from MDR. Time VERY well spent with an outstanding trainer.

Attended a 2 day transport manager refresher course via zoom on 11th and 12th March 2026. Ricky who took the course was an absolute mind of knowledge and knew his subject back to front. He delivered it in a very relaxed and informative style which was easy to follow and get involved with. Highly recommend MDR training, I selected distance learning, all the course material was sent out in a timely manner, all the information that was required was in the folder, the staff(especially Kev) was extremely helpful over email and even sent out case study sessions pre exam to encourage people to practice before their exams. I passed 1st time with MDR and will be recommending them to anybody looking to do their Transport Manager CPC in the near future. Thanks again.

Needed to do my Road Haulage CPC and after a quick google found MDR in Leicestershire. Spoke with Kev on the phone who was very professional and helpful and booked a classroom based course in their centre in Coalville. It was a 9 day course led by Tom Reddy who was superb and covered all the content and made it as enjoyable as possible whilst supporting all the learners. The online portal was great in practicing the multiple choice questions. Would definitely recommend MDR to anybody needing CPC training.

Bought the distance learning CPC course for TM HGV. I didn’t finish it due to personal reasons, but the website is very easy to use and Kev Homer was excellent with support during the purchase. Highly recommend!

I have just completed the Transport Manager unlocked course and I would like to thank Tom the trainer for the excellent way he delivered this three day course ,this has been a very useful refresher training session for myself, I would also like to thank Kev and every body else at MDR for their excellent facilities and friendliness' and office plenty of tea coffee and biscuits to keep every one happy :).

Fantastic experience from start to finish. There is a lot of information to go through but Melissa did a great job at keeping us all engaged and ready to learn. She was fantastic and couldn't do enough for us all. MDR give you all the tools you need and more to help you pass first time as long as you put in the work! Hi Everyone. I didn’t know what to expect at first but everyone at MDR are very helpful.
My mind was put at ease as communication was great. I completed the Distance Learning for the Transport Manager CPC.
Everything was straight forward. I went through the online modules and the Tutors got back to me with Feedback.
It was very frustrating with how the answers are supposed to be completed but if you read the feedback from your tutor you will understand how to answer the questions in the right way for the Exam. The marking for the questions is strict but if you read the questions properly and follow your practise questions and answers you will be fine.
My overall experience with MDR has been brilliant. I would definitely recommend MDR to anybody who wants to complete further training.

Although the CPC Transport Manager course and the subsequent exams are notoriously hard, each online lesson was interesting and kept my attention. Lots of group involvement, opportunities to ask questions and discuss answers; none of the course felt rushed even though there is a lot of information to take in in such a short space of time. The case study and multiple choice homework available is brilliant and really helped me get ready for my exam. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, understanding of peoples different levels of experience within the transport industry and is a credit to MDR; Thank you all of you for your support over the past 4 weeks, its been a blast!
