I’ve ordered things from Meadowmakers in a couple of occasions and have been delighted with the level of information provided, with lots of advice, guidance and encouragement and the quality of the plug plants has been great.
I would have no hesitation in ordering from them in the future.

Ed gives advice and keeps you informed of order and delivery.
The plants (as he said ) soon pick up once planted in the ground.

Delivery was quick and excellent, plants in brilliant condition and we got a little personalised message with how to care for the plants and all came very lovely and homely, met them at plant fairs too and the service is equally brilliant!

have tried growing from seed, didn't come up, this is the second time I've order plugs and praying this order will grow and reseed my small wild area in garden. if not giving up with yellow rattle as its so expensive to keep buying.

Easy, fast and great quality plants.

The plugs arrived in good condition and was very pleased to get a complimentary one. Unfortunately the packaging had disintegrated to a large degree, but luckily nothing had fallen out.

Ed's talk to our WI on wild flowering came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. He was clear, informative and entertaining. His commitment and enthusiasm for our natural flora was clear and his tales of plant hunting and plant sales humerous. We were also able to buy from a selection of quality plants he had brought from the nursery. Excellent talk so much so rebooked next year re butterflies and importance of wild flowering.

Edward Cook’s talk on native rewilding at the u3a Garden Group’s September meeting was a passionate and inspiring exploration of the importance of restoring native UK plant species to our landscapes. With infectious enthusiasm,
he highlighted how rewilding with indigenous flora—such as purple loosestrife, wild marjoram, and meadow cranesbill—not only enhances biodiversity
but also supports pollinators and native wildlife. His message resonated deeply with the group, sparking renewed interest in cultivating gardens that echo
the natural heritage of the British countryside.
So compelling was his presentation that I have already invited Edward back to speak next winter, this time on butterflies —a testament to the impact of his advocacy for ecological harmony.

Delivery was exactly within timescales promised & all plants are very healthy. Lots of extra help & advice given with a genuinely warm & humane approach. Will be back for further orders next spring.

Excellent service, good quality plants

Really good advice at a plant hunters fair’ large plugs of yellow rattle combined with grasses are now established and will hopefully help with our wild flower meadow

I was disappointed with the way they were packaged and although you told me what plant we had, you didn't say which was which.
