AVOID. They did not contact me when my order was delivered, causing the meals to be left for hours at the concierge.

I didn’t enjoy the meals & asked to cancel my subscription, which they confirmed, but they still charged me anyway and delivered meals without my knowledge. I didn’t expect meals to be delivered and again did not receive any notification (even after asking repeatedly) & meals were again left with the concierge for days and went straight in the bin.

They refuse to refund the wrongly delivered meals. £72.99 I am owed. They take advantage of customers. Do not recommend.

I was super excited for some prepped vegan meals and made an order for a split delivery, costing £82. The first delivery was sent out due to be delivered on a day which was 30'c. Despite the packaging and delivery instructions stating not to be returned to depot, it was. I spoke to the customer services at Meatless who informed me that the packaging will keep the meals fresh for 48hrs from leaving them, and guaranteed the delivery the next day. The next day it still was not delivered. My next package was due and that too was not delivered. 5 days after the original delivery date, I received a box of bashed up, open containers of food that had to go in the bin. Charlotte from Meatless apologised profusely and halted the second delivery, explaining they will resend the box fresh, with extra meals and a refund as an apology. I understand that delivery issues aren't their fault, and gave plenty of space for this start-up to rectify the issue.
That was June 27th. Last email July 2nd.
I've emailed weekly, then monthly both direct and to the main address, used their web chat and tried to call... But the website has removed their telephone number!
4 months has gone by and I haven't heard a single response, nor my deliveries, or a refund.

£82 literally in the bin.

Lovely service and greatly appreciated I work practically 24/7 so this is a lifesaver for me I’m very impressed with the quality.

I subscribed to a weekly box called the "vegan protein bundle." When the first delivery arrived, I discovered that a couple of the meals had open plastic tops, causing spills onto the others. The two affected meals were inedible, and the residue made the remaining meals unappetising. The reheating instructions were vague and seemed unsafe, simply advising to "heat in the oven for a few minutes." I tried reheating one meal, which was supposed to be katsu curry with a panko-coated item, but it looked terrible—like a soggy airplane meal.

I contacted the company to request compensation and to cancel my subscription. They replied with an offer to send me extra meals, but I expressed my discomfort with their food. My order consisted of 14 meals scheduled for delivery on Tuesdays and Thursdays, costing £95.99. The first delivery contained 7 meals, 2 of which were inedible, and I canceled my subscription on the same day (Tuesday) before they could prepare the next batch. I specifically requested that they not send me any more food. I assume they received my email since I never received the second box of 7 meals or the extra meals they offered to replace the damaged ones. However, I did not receive any follow-up email to confirm this or to discuss a refund, partial or otherwise. Ultimately, I spent £95.99 on 5 questionable microwave meals, which was a complete waste of money. I strongly advise against using this company!

Had a mixed experience with these meals. Loved the lasagne and the biscoff pancakes, dirty rice and beef teriyaki were ok. The biscoff overnight oats were so thick I could barely finish them, a bit nauseating. Also the oats looked nothing like the image on the website. I would order again but couldn't be confident I would enjoy everything

Had really high hopes but was very disappointed. Ordered x2 of 5 meals for me & my partner to try for a week before subscribing & thank god I did. First meal was 'Beef' Bourguignon - the root vegetable mash was lovely, and the sauce & mushrooms were nice but the 'beef' was awful - chewy and slimey texture with almost a burnt taste (a fake 'smokey' taste I'm guessing?). We had to pick the 'beef' out and threw it away. Next Satay Chkn - this was extremely dry & bland, full of raw red onion for some reason, the only nice part was the papaya salad which unfortunately you only get a spoonful of in a tiny pot. After that was the Black Bean 'Beef' - this was our favourite, really nice, flavourful and the 'beef' element was much nicer than what was in the Bourguignon - not sure why they wouldn't just use this in all their 'beef' dishes? Then we had the Kung Po Chkn - like the previous chkn dish this was very dry and bland, the only nice part was the 'slaw but again you only get a spoonful in a tiny pot. Last was the Meatless Tacos - these tasted nice but again were so dry, it could have used a salsa. It did come with a tiny pot of guacamole but one of them had 2 chunks of unripe avocado with bits of the stone/pip attached! Not even sure how that's possible. It came with potato wedges which tasted nice but the larger ones were undercooked and hard.

Overall that means only 1 in 5 of the meals were actually enjoyable, so unfortunately I won't be subscribing. All I can assume is that as they are trying to keep the meals healthy and within a certain calorie/fat ratio, that they are unfortunately sacrificing flavour & sauces. I suppose if you just want something quick, convenient & low calorie then you might enjoy these.

Excellent quality, customer service and value for money. The food tastes great and is really healthy, definitely appreciated when looking for convenience without the ultra processing. Will definitely use again, thank you!

Brilliant that the protein, content, is so high!
I do, however wish, the meals came, with more carbohydrates/(rice for example)
The one off cost, is more than some companies, are offering the same size, meal for, without subscription! There is a discount, for subscription, though. Which I am Definitely Considering!

It was about five/six days, before I received the meals, and I didn’t receive the notification, until I inquired about it after four days.
They are very lovely friendly, people though, helpful informative, and generally respond, quickly, within, the next day!

It’s so good to have a delicious vegan ready prepared meal without all the usual list of processed ingredients. Very generous portion sizes too. What’s not to like ❤️

Just the best food. Best customer service. Been ordering for over 12 months and not had any issues. They close for a couple of weeks in December and sent me loads of extra meals which I could freeze to get me through. Food is always incredible! Highly recommend!

Didn’t have the meals available, emailed me to choose new ones.

Sent meals out on the Thursday all together; one had a use by of the day after. Forgot to send 4 breakfast pots, emailed and had no reply.

All in all £55 for 4 basic ready meals.

Amazing healthy high protein low fat meals. Restaurant quality every time- can’t imagine life without them ❤️ my husband has a severe nut allergy and we are excellently catered for with full confidence - highly recommended

I have just demolished a crispy chilli beef and it was by far my favourite meal so far! I Will 100% be adding this onto my order going forward!! The best food from the best people, not only do they bring the tastiest dishes to my door, the customer service is next level. Thanks Guys! Crispy chilli beef for the foreseeable please!

Adding a final response to say take the company responses on this site with a big pinch of salt. The lack of professionalism, and the attack attitude characerises customer services from this company. Anyone doubting our issues with deliveries and money taken but not refunded should see the other reviews on this site and elsewhere. Finally this was the trading standards response I received:

"The owner has been emailed as I have been unable to see him in person. I have requested an overview of their allergens process from start to finish, and will review it once I receive it. I have also asked for their explanation of why you were delivered foods with lentils in despite them knowing your allergen requirements, and what they have done to prevent this happening in future. Once I have received the information from the owner I will look to advise them on best practice and how to ensure instances like this don’t happen again. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention."

Has taken 13 days to get an adequate response from this company after they had sent allergens in an order. Food with allergens sent out and in this time no reassurance - the company just kept making excuses, trying to remove reviews and not offering an apology. Even took another payment and failed to deliver again.

I'll be reporting this to trading standards but have finally started getting somewhere with Peter Baines who I assume is the director of the company. It took several emails. In the most recent email I detailed how I am a public health doctor working with local authorities on food safety - but really? Should someone need to be an expert in food allergies to have their concerns taken seriously.

It shouldn't take this long. Allergens kill. Allergens matter. Customers experiences matter. This company gaslighted my concerns for 13 days.

All I can say is wow. I ordered an omni bundle of vegan and pescatarian meals and they were all amazing. Delivery was really easy, they sent with their own drivers who you can contact on WhatsApp for updates. Customer service is fab - even got sent some free biscoff oats to try (10/10 amazing). The sweet chilli salmon was fab, Thai fishcakes, Thai meatballs and the Cajun salmon pasta were my favourites - but they were all honestly amazing!

The most amazing meal preps. Amazing service! Couldn’t recommend them enough. Can’t wait for my next delivery 🙌🏼

Terrible experience. Was promised a refund twice, still not happened and ignoring messages sent. If you live up north don't bother as you won't get your meals on time and when you eventually do there split open and off.

The food is so good I can’t believe it! Tastes so fresh and delicious and I love that they change the menu every week. I’ve been getting the meals for about a month and I’ve had over 40 different things, and enjoyed every single one of them. So impressed honestly.
