Horrific online shopping experience
Their online shopping experience was absolutely terrible.
I placed an online order on Tuesday night for a Mother’s Day gift. Immediately after placing the order, I realised I had selected the wrong delivery address. I contacted their online help desk straight away, expecting a simple address update since the order had not even been shipped and there was no tracking number yet.
Instead, I was told they could not do anything. They told me to contact the courier company, even though there was no tracking number and the parcel had not been dispatched. I asked whether they could contact someone in the warehouse to update the shipping address before it was sent out, but again I was told no, and they kept repeating that there was nothing they could do.
I then asked if I could cancel the order and place a new one with the correct address. Their response was that if I was not happy with the purchase, I could return the goods once received. That made absolutely no sense — how was I supposed to receive the goods when they were being sent to the wrong address?
The whole experience was a complete disaster. The order was shipped a day later, and I had to contact the courier myself and pay an extra redirection fee just to fix the address — something that should have been easily handled before dispatch.
On top of that, their promise of “order now and receive before Mother’s Day” turned out to be a joke.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the poor customer service, lack of basic problem-solving, and complete unwillingness to help. I would never buy from them again, and I definitely would not recommend anyone use their online shopping portal.
