I just want to say that my trip to MedAway in Turkey Istanbul was very successful! Even more than I expected. I had 360 tummy tuck and liposuction, also liposuction at my upper back and lower back.
I want to say a big thanks to Dr Selami for giving me a brand new life, and helping me to make the right decision.
I am so happy that I chose MedAway for my procedures.
I have no regrets.

From collecting me from the airport, and throughout my stay, they have been attentive and ensured that I was comfortable, safe and taken me to and from appointments throughout my stay.
The hospital staff cared for my every needs. Also, my stay at the hotel after my surgery was well cared for with nurse on site that was there to answer my calls throughout my stay, and ensured that I was ok at all times. I cannot leave out my therapist.
She is amazing! I wish I was staying longer to have more massage sessions with her. My body is feeling much better since I started the massage.
Overall, I just want to thank you all for your tremendous support.

I had breast surgery there approximately one month ago and developed an infection (still ongoing) Since then, I have received no post-operative care or follow-up support. Despite numerous attempts to contact the clinic over my infection, I have received no response.

On the day of my departure, I was also told I would have a final in person review with the surgeon. But it never happened, they refused to let me see a surgeon. Instead, I was seen by a woman who smelled of cigarettes and she aggressively pulled my surgical drains using a razor blade?? + without any gloves!!

They also failed to arrange my scheduled transport to the airport (included in the package you pay for) leaving me to organize and pay for my own transportation at the last minute or I would’ve missed my flight!!

I had a very good experience with Medway clinic and the whole team, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had the loveliest results and I healed very quickly, the aftercare was great and overall very very pleasant. I cannot recommend them enough

I don’t t recommend this clinic! You agree with them on the price and the date, and then they disappear. If you need additional information, they will not answer you from the number you agreed on at the beginning. You write to them by email, WhatsApp, messenger, try to call, and in response there is silence, no one answers. This clinic gave a lot of stress. They answered 24 hours before the flight. When I had already cancelled the ticket. Absolutely not responsible. I do not recommend this clinic!!!

My operation went wrong and my stitches came undone before leaving Istanbul and noone has took any responsibility after telling this hospital also I have had many other operation and they asked me for a considerable amount after I was under local aesthetics
Like £2000 on top of the price of the surgery agreed before leaving England and making flight reservations by myself.

They’re very helpful during the process however the transplant was unsuccessful and then they avoid you.
I recommend you go somewhere else.

My experience with Medaway was perfect. I had breas lift tummy tuck and lipo . Everything was just amazing from day 1 do 7 . I highly recommend clinic and definitely will come back again.

My surgeon, Dr Zafer was amazing. I am happy with my results and have nothing negative to say about him and his assistant, I had my treatment 12 weeks ago and they’re still in contact with me now. However, the after care at the hospital was somewhat disappointing, after I had my surgery I was in a lot of discomfort, one night I pressed the buzzer for assistance and it had taken the nurse around 5 hours to come to me. In the end I had to get up walk to the corridor where it was pitch black where I found her sleeping. It was a relief when the day nurses started their shift as the care was much better. There was one cleaner there, I think her name was Punar, what an absolute diamond she is. She cared for me like any mum would. She showered me, washed and dried my hair, and washed my garment by hand for me. She brought me a coffee every day, what an amazing women she was. She truly cared and I was sad that I didn’t get to say my goodbyes on my last day. The food at the hospital could have been better. The hotel was lovely and so was the food. The transport from the airport to the hospital was good, but when we were due to fly home it was a bit of a nightmare, the driver had taken us to the wrong airport, we had to tell the driver as we were confused why it was taking so long to get there. He then drove us to the correct airport which had taken a while which left us 1 hour to check in and get on the plane, bearing in mind we were still in a lot of discomfort so rushing about post surgery is not ideal. We had no time to stop and grab a drink or go toilet as the plane was boarding. These issues we faced can be resolved, hopefully by leaving an honest review they can act on the issues, because without having these issues it would of been a great experience overall.

I had otoplasty surgery in January.
Since April 23rd, I've had constant pain and inflammation in my ear, which I’ve reported several times. The only response I got was that I should "wait for the healing process to be fulfilled." But this is not normal healing – I have pain, visible inflammation, and even new wounds behind my ear. I’ve received no follow-up, no examination, and no treatment.

On top of that, the right ear still sticks out significantly – the surgery was not successful, and this has been completely ignored as well, despite me pointing it out multiple times. I feel like they just don’t care once the surgery is done.

Honestly, this experience has been extremely disappointing – the team feels very unprofessional, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had a skull x-ray because the medaway never gave me any paper work from the surgery and I need to go to MRI.
The x-ray came back like I have a metal implant in my head so the MRI impossible. The problem I never gave permission to put anything in my head and they are never inform me so they try to kill me basically.

Don't come here if your life is important for you

I have had five procedures with Medaway since 2023. Silicon breast implants, 5X implants, bone graft and 16 composite bonded teeth. My teeth procedures were spread over three trips.

I am so happy with the results, I would recommend flying out to Istanbul to anyone.
I have had no issues whatsoever, the doctors, administration staff and nurses were brilliant.

I had rhinoplasty with Medaway in October and I am currently 7 months post surgery. Everything was great from the beginning, expectations from both sides, schedule, transfers, hotel, nurse visits and aftercare. 5/5* very happy with results - minimal if any pain from waking up and no problems or discomfort since. Thank you!

I flew out for my procedure alone. I met some lovely people. I was well looked after during my stay both in hospital and in the beautiful apartment. I can’t fault anyone. I have been in contact with the team throughout my recovery and nothing has been too much trouble ☺️

I had rhinoplasty in June 2024 and overall I am extremely happy with my results. The staff at the hospital, my surgeon, and hotel staff were all supportive and helpful. I felt at ease and comfortable before, during and after surgery. I have had check ins since having rhinoplasty and questions have been answered at any stage of me reaching out. I can’t speak for other surgeries but based on mg experience I would recommend those wanting rhinoplasty to go to Medaway.

An inexperienced dentist at your clinic mistakenly performed a root canal on the wrong tooth — one that had no prior issues — which is now causing me ongoing pain. Furthermore, I was told that a root canal was performed on my back molar (which was the tooth that actually needed it), but upon my return to the UK, it was confirmed by a licensed dentist that no root canal had been done on that tooth at all. As a direct result of this failure, I experienced severe pain and had to undergo an emergency tooth extraction of one of my main back teeth. My composite bonding has started to chip off and has ruined my entire look of teeth due to the awful work of the dentist. Additionally, I paid £3,000 for composite bonding, which is extremely overpriced, especially for dental work carried out in Turkey. This amount far exceeds the typical costs for such treatments in Turkey, and I feel I was overcharged for services that were not performed correctly or to the expected standard.

I went to medaway hospital and I love the whole process from the transfer to the dietitian ,psychologist ,nurses and my co-donators were superb .my surgery and pain was managed perfectly .i was sent home fully well and catered for .i will recommend them 100 present

I am very satisfied with medaway they made me feel like home. Very friendly and always reassured me mentally also not just physically. I had tummy tuck bbl and lipo 360 I did not expect to be in so much pain however I have been well taken care of and even after I returned home I am still getting messages from them asking how I am doing. I am 6 months post op and still in contact with them I am very happy with my decision that I chose medaway I recommend medaway to everyone. Excellent nurses everyone else is super helpful and I love my results and it’s a proccess as time passes it looks even better I am very pleased

It's run like a business so when you're gone, you're not their problem. I had tummy tuck, lipo, breast uplift. Same issues as others not being told in advance about extra fees for lung tests. I was asked by the doctor on day 5 if I could stay later, I was due to fly out the next day. Unfortunately that wasn't possible. We had a standoff the next day regarding my drains as he refused to write me a fit to fly if the drains were still in, there was over 200ml of fluid coming out over 24hrs. All other flights were 9-12hrs long to return to the UK. Basically I was either at risk of DVT or a seroma.
Surprise. 6 hrs in a&e with excruciating pain. 30+hrs in hospital, admitted for the NHS to drain the seroma. 850mp drained then a week later 330ml. I have to go back to have it drained again.
Also tested for MRSA (severe staph infection).

I wouldn't even give them one star. The five star reviews are fake, read the one star reviews for the truth about this company.

Had hair transplant surgery with them , great service , great value for money . I felt really looked after whilst I. Was in Istanbul .

It’s been 7 months since my procedure and so far I am really pleased with the results.
