Hi Sue, many thanks for your review and words. It makes us super happy that we are helping.
If you mean crunchy towels, that's just a build up of detergent/softener in the towels fibres so just do 2 hot washes (no detergent) of all towels together: Wash 1 with 200ml of white distilled vinegar in drum before the clothes and the
2nd wash with 100g of Baking Soda as above. It will strip out excess detergent and make your towels like new but softer! Do every 6 weeks and try using a little less Melt thereafter.
Please contact with any issues, stains etc
Thanks again, Team Melt

Happy customer
I have a regular delivery of melts laundry sheets. They arrive in good time. The option of using one sheet for a smaller load is very useful.

Hi Val, many thanks it's great to make you happy. We really appreciate you being a subscriber with us.
You can also tear the strips say for hand washing a single item. If you want to use less for larger loads, try tearing and spreading them around the load/machine making sure some go in the drum before the load.
It takes a few extra seconds but will use less and cost less as it focuses the detergent more evenly
We always say: try doing that with a pod. 😂
Many thanks, The (Happy) Melt Team
Not good cleaning whites
Not very good at getting my whites white. Still came out grey. Ok for washes to refresh clothes rather than wash dirty clothes.

Thanks for taking your time to review. The link below is how you can get your whites white again. There are many such blogs online as white's do fade over time. No detergent will avoid this unfortunately.
As for stains let us know what you are trying to shift and we offer a free fast custom solution. Melt is really competent at most stains as it contains bio enzymes but bad stains should always be pre treated with a stain removing product. No detergent will remove bad stains every time.
A vegetable stain soap applied to a stain for a few mins works great and also will whiten collars a little.

Thanks again and those tips should get you fixed. Thanks The Melt Team
Everything is good!
Swift response to phone call requiring extra supplies. The product is easy to store ( the size of a very small package) and the leaves perform brilliantly.

Hi Lara , it's so nice of you to take your time to leave us a review. We really value your feedback as we do your continued business. Without a doubt a dog makes a house a home but gives extra challenges with laundry as you said.(I have a mud loving spaniel and I know!) Melt leaves no skin irritating residue on bedding. Great that we can help. Many Thanks The Melt Team.
Product claims to be vegan…
Product claims to be vegan in a short video on its website, yet packaging doesn’t display any logos claiming it is cruelty free or vegan. So is it or not?!

Hi Silvia, thanks for your input and I know we have confirmed this to you a few weeks ago. It's nothing sinister we just choose to brand Melt strips as a crossover brand that appeals to the mainstream and big brand users. A little eco branding goes a long way on packaging but as we said your input is noted. Shouting out every single eco benefit and accreditation logo in sustainability is a little preachy and off-putting to many big brand users and that's the habits we need to change to make change more than a club. Thanks again, anything else please let us know. The Melt Team

Hi Kathryn, that's so very kind. Many thanks. We are glad you would agree that a few pence a wash (still we are only 1p/garment) can be a small price to pay for not having 12 empty plastic jugs or boxes a year to dispose of. The postage is a cost we don't pass on and saves the trip to the lovely detergent aisle too! A regular hot clean/service wash of a machine and filter check can save hundreds £ a year and improve machine performance. We like to think of laundry and Melt detergent as part of a system that helps water get dirt out of clothes whilst not making our water more polluted. Thanks again, we appreciate your support greatly. The Melt Team.

Hi Claire, many thanks and kudos to you for heloing make Melt a real sustainable brand. We have already saved over 4 tonnes of SU plastic from ever being made. That's a lot of detergent bottles and boxes that wont be landfilled or shredded to end up in the ocean a few years later. We don't farm out our customer service, we are just a message away and all UK experts in finding you an edge with your garment care. Thanks The Melt Team
Highly Recommended
I have been using Melt Laundry strips for several months now (enough time, I think, to give an informed review).
The strips work well (even on muddy, oily work clothes) and are very easy to use.
My account is easy to access and modify when needed. Several times I have had to either slow down or speed up my order and it has never been a problem.
If I need to reorder urgently they arrive within a couple of days.

I love this product. Cleaning quality is great and great delivery. Love the smell of the sheets in the box, but wish the scent could be slightly stronger when washed. I am not dropping the score as I am happy overall.

Hi Karen, thanks for being such a loyal subscriber and for your review, it's great to have something material to discuss.
Above all else since we started fragrance is the most divisive some want more some less and some Love it and a few even hate it! We will bear this in mind as we formulate future products also.
There are a couple of ways to be sure you're getting the full fresh fragrance just make sure the machine is as clean as possible and the filter is unblocked as those can dull the fresh outcome. The dirty/part blocked filter (even a coin does this) in particular can leave clothes very wet/fusty at the end as the pump doesn't empty the drum fully.
Of course you can always use a little more: the strips can be torn so you don't need to use a whole extra strip and keep costs down.
Finally you can place into the clothes as well as on the top of the load that works for me.
Play stay in touch the Melt Team.

Environmental gem
Lovely scent. Hassle free delivery service. Can fit through the letterbox so no need to be in. Wash well. Happy to know I’m doing my big for the environment with no waste but more expensive so will need to see how finances go and see how long I can maintain the subscription. Great product though.

Hi KL , thanks so much for your lovely review and loyal subscription. You'll save around 5kg on plastic waste a year.
Let me email with some up to date tips and we can help you use less strips and save money. You seem to have soft water (lucky you!) so in theory should need less than those in hard water ares like the South East.
Melt has not increased prices for subscribers so per wash (22p) is one of the cheapest even v big brands. With all the advantages.
Other "eco"brands have increased prices 2 or 3 times (40%) in the last 12 months without even telling their subscribers. We would definitely not do that!
We can now also help with custom stain removal also. Just tell us what you are struggling to shift (wine, blood on silk etc ) and we will reply quickly with a plan. Please watch for an email soon and we can then work to extend your frequency and save you money. Thanks The Melt Team
