I wanted to order a memorial stone for my mother's cremation plot. I emailed and phoned a number of stonemasons from a list that I was given at the crematorium, only contacting the ones that were close enough for me to visit, which I thought would have to be the case. I found them very unhelpful.
As this was my first time ordering a stone, I was unaware of how it worked. Memorials of Distinction aren't based near me so I didn't bother contacting them initially, until they were highly recommended to me.
From my first call, speaking to Karen, everything ran so smoothly. Communication was exceptional, service was brilliant and the stone is beautiful, far nicer than I had imagined.
All of this was done online and over the phone, which I didn't think was possible.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough and I am so grateful to Memorials of Distinction for everything they have done.

Memorials of Distinction installed my parents headstone recently, and I am absolutely delighted. The detail and finish is more than what I had expected. The team were compassionate and helpful right from the the first phone call. The masons did a wonderful job designing and installing as I had wished, and the two roses left on the day it was set was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend. Thank you!

from start to finish the fluidity and communication of this company is brilliant nothing is to much explanation of how and what will happen is excellent you send a message there is a reply same day! and lets face it doing what we are doing with memorials of distinction is not easy , if you are thinking of using them just do it you cant go wrong , and the headstone we had installed was a credit to them and the stone Mason involved.

Quality of polished granite, precision work in executing the detail of design -all perfect. Memorials of Distinction always patient and willing to accommodate a grieving families often disparate views on design. Took on liaison with the designated Cemetry for installation to relieve any further burden; gave us a timeline for sourcing the granite, production and fitting and met that timeline. And a good price for all inclusive. Memorials of Distinction have a satellite North London office where samples can be viewed and instruction agreed. A very very happy experience when it really mattered.

The communication was brilliant 🤩 very helpful considering I never met anyone it was all done over the phone and by email I had no problem contacting them if I had a query they were happy to help, they kept in contact during the process sent me a picture of the finished result confirming we were happy with it before being given the go ahead I would recommend this company to my friends and family especially when these times are hard anyway thank you memorials of distinction

Great customer service all done via email and one telephone call. Got straight back to me when ordering and designing the perfect headstone for my perfect person i sadly lost. I have never had to arrange a headstone before they helped me from day 1. The headstone is absolutely beautiful and really is amazing big thank you to memorials of distinction team. It was fitted so well also. I know my loved one will be so pleased.

Memorials of Distinction are a great company to deal with.. nothing was too much trouble, they listen & they take real care. My request was for 2 stones, both customised (headstones reversed on one, plinths reversed on the other, different logos etc). And a really wonderful result.. thank you !

Memorials of Distinction made the process very easy at such a difficult time. All my questions were answered promptly. I was kept informed each step of the way. I paid the bulk of the cost mid June and the memorial was complete and installed mid October which was a bit earlier than I expected. I have been to see it in place and it's exactly what I requested. Cannot find fault with anything. Highly recommend this company.
