We regret to inform you that due to recent regulatory compliance changes, MERCO Bank may no longer be able to offer services in certain regions.

To ensure compliance and facilitate this transition, members will be required to take one of the following steps to manage their accounts:

1. To Continue Investing: Pay a 21% compliance fee based on your total deposit assets to keep your account active and maintain investment activities.

2. To Close Your Account: Pay a 21% compliance fee along with a 4% deposit waiver fee to close your account and cease investment activities. (Upon account termination, the capital deposit and accrued interest will be available for transfer).

Payments will be accepted between January 27 and February 24, 2025. After this period, only accounts that have fulfilled the necessary payments and activated their status will be eligible for withdrawals and continued investments. Accounts that do not comply by February 24, 2025, will be closed indefinitely without refund!

We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and we are committed to providing assistance throughout this process. Please note that these measures are essential to meet evolving regulatory requirements in the affected regions.

Accounts that comply with these requirements will be eligible to begin operation and withdrawals starting February 24, 2025.

The problem of withdrawing money from your account in Merco Bank

I have been working with Merco Bank for more than three years and I did a lot of advertising for this bank, but unfortunately, for nearly 11 months, the bank has not allowed me to withdraw for various reasons. My friends and I have invested in this bank.
I don't know why my friends and I are not allowed to withdraw, and I needed money several times for car repair expenses, but the bank did not allow or approve the withdrawal of even 30% of what I have in the bank, and experts and support people, not on WhatsApp And they are not responsive in Telegram.
If this problem is only for us Iranians, let us know. Because my friends in Morocco said they are allowed to withdraw.
I read the bank's messages regarding the disapproval of withdrawals. I have a proposal for the bank to release at least 20% of people's assets every month due to the problems that have arisen until the situation is right.

Deceptive Banking: A Warning About a Troubling Financial Institution

This is absolutely scandalous. Initially, they allow withdrawals and even display daily interest earnings, but after a few months, withdrawals become impossible, and there's complete radio silence.
This bank is nothing but a fraudulent scheme.

This is what I got reply from Mercobank when I request to terminate my account and return funds. As I have written in my comments they ask for money every time. Make a payment for reactivate account. Make a payment for terminate account.

After a long term lock in period, you are expected to reactivate your account prior to withdrawal. This solution maybe the best, as once the payment is cleared, you can start withdrawing and transferring funds out of your account. Since your account has been listed for FUD, due to misinformation and client agreement breach, we no longer accept reactivation deposit from your account.

However, if you choose to terminate your account, you will have to pay a 1.5% Managerial fee (not deducted from available balance), before your assets will be transferred to your personal Wallet.
