Deceiving , unprofessional, hidden fees, its a shame I can't leave zero stars. I got a quote for 2 locks. These so called professionals changed the 1 barrel and left the other as it was. No explanation given, just an apology and charged for a 20 minute job GBP198.00 I have records, invoice, call records if anyone doesn't believe this review.
I would never use these guys again and hope this will help others not to be deceived like we were. Please be aware to scammers like this. All the best.

Horrible product. The keys do not work and now noone from the company is getting back to me as to the next steps. I spent £30.00. the money is not the issue, but in principle acknowledgement of the product and after care would have been amazing.

They were very quick with responses when I wanted to place the order. SO AVOID

None of the the keys worked. I spent £140+. I was told I would receive a refund if I mailed back the keys, which I did after paying for next day, tracked delivery. I still have not received any refund and am being asked to now physically come in with a copy of the receipt.

They assured me that they could supply the key and promptly took payment. Then explained they were unable to supply so I'm now waiting for a refund. Also their prices were sky high. I wouldn't use this company again.

I ordered an Ultion door key. Ultion appear to offer next day delivery but I have been waiting over 2 weeks for my key from Metrolocks. They now tell me it was despatched yesterday but will take 1 - 5 days for delivery. That doesn’t sound like a secure delivery method to me. I paid £6.95 for delivery. I definitely would not recommend this company and wouldn’t use them again. There has been zero communication from them with regard to the progress of my order. I have had to chase them.

I think this is the third time that I have used this company to cut keys for some French locks. Locksmiths in Paris claimed the keys were so old that blanks were no longer available. Each time Metrolocks have cut keys (sometimes just from numbers) and supplied a great service. On this occasion my concierge in Paris claimed the keys didn't work. Metrolocks suggested WD40 (the locks are very old) and my sceptical concierge was amazed when this worked. She is now singing the praises of Metrolocks and WD40!

Like others on here, I ordered 2 identical keys giving the code as I saw it on the lock. Cost was around £20.00. The keys arrived, but neither would go in the key hole, never mind open the drawer. I have asked what can be done. On 3.2.23 I had an email saying matter passed to 'engineering dept.' Nothing received as of 8.2.23. So currently I am £20 down and still have a locked drawer.
Today 10/2/23 I received 2 new keys and I am please to report they fit and work. Well done Metrolocks

I took a picture of a key, got an email that I had to pay.
I started the payment on my credit card but didn't finish it because I don't have a pin.
After that I canceled the payment, didn't respond to the emails that I had to pay.
Today I'm surprised that the money was debited from my credit card even though I don't want or didn't want to buy anything anymore.
THE MONEY WAS CHARGED FOR NOTHING:
if i don't get the money i will file a complaint
I feel cheated and will take legal action unless the money is not refunded.
I ask for a quick solution, I have legal protection and I will use.

Enquired as to whether they could cut keys based only on a code. They said they could and "We'll be able to do this very quickly". I paid £22.02 for two identical keys on 31st August and on the same date was told, "Your order is now ready for dispatch". Nothing received by 9th Sept so I emailed, to be told that were posted on the 7th. They duly arrived late on the 9th and neither of them worked. I emailed asking, "What now?" and have heard nothing since. So I am £22.02 down for keys that don't work. Eventually went to Timpsons and got two keys that worked for £12.00. Lesson learned.

Leider habe ich sehr schlechte Erfahrungen machen müssen. Mein Erst bestellter Schlüssel ging laut aussage Verkäufer beim Zoll verloren ! Mein zweiter Schüssel kam in Original ABUS Brief der jedoch falscher code hatte ! Ich hab ihn um 3,75.- Euro zurück an ABUS London Versand ! Mir wurde eine Erstattung zugesichert von einen in Unternehmen Arbeiteten " Chris " ! Bis jetzt habe ich das Gefühl nur angelogen worden zu sein, mein Verlust in Euro sind ca.25 .- Euro . Kann dieses Unternehmen NICHT weiter Empfehlen !!!! Gut das dieses Unternehmen vom Brexit getroffen wurde .

I used welovekeys.co.uk with some trepidation. I just could not see how I could get a key cut from a photo online and get the finished product back in a few days.

I have a door with an Ezcurra lock, a company based in Spain. I have been trying for some time to find somewhere that had the base keys in stock to get a key cut and had almost given up with the possibility that I might have to replace the entire lock.

I received the key, it worked immediately and I have just ordered a further copy. I should have had faith and bought two in the first place.

Ordered keys online and received very promptly, unfortunately the keys did not quite work, but after a couple of photos and a phone call and I received perfect keys the next morning.
These keys were not readily available in the UK as they were unusual blanks so the service was truly outstanding and very professional.
I would definitely recommend 1st Metropolitan Locks and will certainly use again in the future.

Stan is a star! He made me a key for an Oxford armoured cable lock using the photographs and measurements that I sent him of my only tubular key.
Unfortunately the first key he made was from the wrong blank. However he used the same measurements to make another key, free of change and sent it to me in the first class post. It fitted perfectly. I could not find anyone to cut a tubular key until I hit on Metrolocks and I cannot fault their service.

I needed a couple of spare keys for a high security front door lock and couldn't find a local supplier.
These people were able to give me useful advice and also supply the keys within 3 days. The cost was also significantly less than I was expecting.
Basically top quality, great service at a fair price.

I had the most wonderful customer service from Stan at Metrolocks. I sent a photo of the security Eurospec key I needed copying and I received the key within 2-3 days.
I also posted a Paxton Fob that I needed copying. And once again I received my original and the copied fob by return of post within 2-3 days.
Absolutely fantastic customer service from a very professional Locksmiths.

I only used this site as I thought I was getting official rock door key as pictured on the website, only to be left disappointed when receiving the keys to find out my keys had been cut out of some random blanks that aren’t even a perfect match for the rock door keys. Maybe they should state that the keys aren’t rock door branded on the website to avoid disappointment. Annoyingly I could of had these cut a lot cheaper and a much better matched blank ( atk) however the keys do open the door and the order was processed timely.

When moving into my new apartment I was given a damaged key fob to access the building. Metrolocks were able to copy it to an undamaged fob and post it back to me tracked same day.
