Only trainer in the UK that could get the job done. My dog went from unable to walk down the road without wanting to attack anyone and anything to be able to be off lead in any public setting. Adam not only teaches the dog but helps you as an owner understand dogs better. My bond with my dog has multiplied since starting training with midlandsgrisslys. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

We has our first session with Adam in November and honestly, I could’ve cried happy tears that day — in fact, I very nearly did. The improvement in just one session was unbelievable, and I knew straight away it was only going to get better from there. We told Adam in the first hour that we’d be going straight onto the off-lead programme after this one!

Adam’s knowledge and passion are second to none. His approach is exactly what we were searching for, and I was genuinely thrilled to have started this journey with our new giant rescue. If you want results-driven training, do not look elsewhere. You’ll be wasting time and money with anyone else — jump straight in with Adam. You will not regret it.

I’d spent so much time watching his Instagram and TikTok — probably every single video — and reading every review I could find across multiple platforms. Everything looked so impressive that I honestly thought it might be too good to be true. But before our first session had even begun, we were lucky enough to catch the end of one of Adam’s group sessions. Around 10–12 huge dogs trotting in single file around the block, calm, obedient and fully engaged. I was in complete awe. That was the moment I knew we’d made the right decision.

UPDATE: Now, 7 weeks in, the progress has been nothing short of exceptional. Barney is completely controllable, manageable and genuinely a pleasure to walk. We take him to coffee shops, to the pub for lunch, he's been to the gym with me, and generally out into everyday life — and more often than not, he is better behaved than most of the dogs we meet on our walks. I really should carry a stack of Adam’s cards with me.

We’ve recently completed our first off-lead session with Adam, which included Barney walking off lead along a road and through a park. We were absolutely blown away — although at the same time, we expected nothing less with Adam’s guidance and structure.

What has been just as important as Barney’s progress is the confidence and understanding Adam has given us as owners. We now feel equipped with the tools, clarity and reassurance to advocate for our dog properly and set him up to succeed. We know we still have a journey ahead, but the foundations built in such a short space of time have exceeded every expectation.

We are truly lucky to have Adam here in the Midlands. We travelled over an hour to train with him — and honestly, I’d have driven to Scotland and back again for this. I was recommending him to others before we’d even had our own session, and I’ll continue to recommend him with absolute conviction.

I completed both the beginner and intermediate off-lead course with my reactive shepherd, and the progress has been incredible. The training gave both me and my dog real confidence in handling a wide range of situations.

Can’t recommend Adam highly enough to anyone. Covers everything you would need to have a fantastic relationship with your dog and understand their behaviour, from puppy sessions to group sessions to off lead sessions and then also one-to-one at home or protection training.

Best dog trainer around, when we first went we dreaded getting out the car with our 2 German shepherds, I still to this day remember Adam laughing at us stood at the top of the field and telling us to go down to him, from that day until the last training session we had our dogs just transformed week after week, we done both on lead and off lead training with Adam and it’s changed us fearing walking our dogs to enjoying it.

He also came to a house visit for us as our dogs were reacting and barking at the tele which made it difficult for us to watch anything in peace, after 1 session we somehow managed to watch cruffs, I don’t know how he does it but this bloke is the real life doctor dolittle 😂 10/10 service from a Top Bloke🫡

Since having obedience training with Adam our Labrador has become much calmer and actually listens to us! He can walk nicely on lead, will sit and stay when told to and responds well to instructions. Going to the park is still a work in progress as he’s super excited but I feel like we’re making progress- thank you Adam!

We’ve been taking our (now) 11 month old Doberman, Solar, to 1 to 1 training for the past couple of months. We were not sure what to expect, but we have not been disappointed! Adam from MG is an UNBELIEVABLE trainer! he doesnt only train dogs, but also trains the owner to be a better dog handler! My GSD has improved massively with his guidance, hes off lead and also started his protection work.

After owning a medley of large breed dogs for the past 20 years, usually 3 dogs at any one time I considered myself a responsible and knowledgeable owner, often having friends ask me advice about their dogs.
Oh how wrong I was!
My latest, the beautiful little relaxed Cane Corso/Boerboel pup I found myself owning hit around 16 months, got attacked by a lab and turned into a monster over night.
Lucky I found Adam.
He has given me the tools, and with that the confidence to take control of my dog using his methods of training making Benny into a dog I can pop to the pub with or walk along the beach without a lead.
