You buy a package with them, thinking everything is included, then they ask for more money. They told me it would be over a grand to copywrite my book through them. Its only $65 if you do it yourself. They created my website for free then told me it would be between $500 and thousands of dollars to make it go live. I pay $10 a year for my domain. They want you to pay to market your book, even if you bought their most expensive package. They take advantage of people who want their books published and are unaware of how to go about it. You also have to hand hold. A whole team vetted my book them published it with pages missing and things out of order. My next book, I will be self-publishing. They are not worth it at all.

The people at Midwood Books have been great, could not have asked for better. Zack was my first contact and he's been super. Emma and her team have taken my story and my writing and turned it into something spectacular. As a first time author, her input and guidence have been invaluable, I don't know what I would do without her. We are still on the journey, the book is not finished yet but I can't wait to see what happens next.

The Midwood Books team is hardworking, dedicated, and played a lucrative part in the production and illustration of my first children's book entitled Mr. C and The First Day of School. Jane is a wonderful project manager and ensured that the book was procured to my exact desire. I 100% plan on working with them in the future for my second installment of my book series.
