TRICKERY
The website leads you to understand that you'd be dealing with an English gentlewoman, with a shop in London, who's selling her elegant, high-quality clothes at a reduced price because she's retiring.
In the FAQs is this statement: "May I return the item if I don't love it? Of course. You may return your order within 30 days of receiving it. All items must be unworn and in their original condition."
The 3 garments I sent for turned out to be utterly revolting, made of some slithery, slimy fabric -- and not until I tried to return them did I find that I was being told either to send them to China, costing around £50, or to accept an offer of a partial refund, starting at 10% and over a series of emails working its way up to 50%.
I have not accepted the refund and I have reported the company to Trading Standards.
This is clearly Millies business model: provide VERY CHEAP CLOTHES AT HIGH PRICES, AND PERSUADE THE POOR SOD WHO FALLS FOR THEIR TRICKERY TO KEEP THEM AT A REDUCED PRICE.
