BEWARE! This rental company use scam tactics. Upon returning our car the older lady employee ( grey hair, glasses) immediately focussed in on some minor marks on lower bumper, an area that already had several markers on the rental agreement. She did not even walk around the whole car. Another male younger employee seemed to suggest to her that this had been noted and was unfair. FROM OTHER REVIEWS YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS IS A WELL PRACTICED TACTIC.
We needed to jump start the car on the morning of return, ( no leads supplied!, but got help at holiday villa) due to a faulty battery (same lady employee tried to claim that faulty battery and full cost recovery if we came back on a truck, was because we did not take out their insurance policy!!). THEY WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY.
As other, genuine, reviews have also mentioned, go with a reputable company at the airport. You may pay slightly more initially, but these scammers will find a way to make up their money.
Be suspicious of the 5 star reviews. Mostly FAKE.
If you do rent with them, take a full all round video&photos of your rental car and check the details on the rental agreement.
But as many others have said, just go elsewhere..
Back street scammers
We rented two cars through Minaret for a family holiday. The experience of picking up the cars was positive but the return changed our experience. As soon as we returned the cars an older member of staff immediately started scanning the car and making accusations of markings that were not made by us. She was abrupt, rude and trying her hardest to identify an issue that didn't exist! This company is dishonest and really not worth the hastle. Save time and unfair charges by going by a reputable company. Back street scammers!

Worst experience ever of a car hire company,I am currently in Spain and have a puncture,I have full insurance with them and they are refusing to do anything about it or help me do anything
There is a silicone gel as a repair kit as there is no spare tyre ,no compressor to pump the tyre up and then I was told to drive to nearest garage with a flat tyre and pump it up ,which I think is totally unacceptable as the wheel will probably get damaged
Threatened to charge me £230 to have a tow truck send to my villa to recover the car ,I’m still waiting for them to contact me
Refuses to have any responsibility for the car and also will not answer the phone or Whattsapp messages

Beaware we had the most treble experience with this company. We where accessed of damaged done to this vehicle, luckily my son had taken photographs there was a pea size dent not even a photographer would have picked up due the flourish lime green colour unsurprisingly she knew exactly where that dent was.We were subsequently charged €400.00 out of our deposit.How many other people have they conned with this same ruse.
Totally inept company
Totally inept company. I am unfortunate enough to have to use this company for the charging sessions for my fleet vehicle. They take charging sessions from my Zappi charger even before the session conclude, they now ignore the business usage flag and therefore all charging sessions including personal sessions get charged to my employer. The customer service is pathetic and takes about 3 weeks for them to reply. Their CEO needs sacking, to think that it acceptable to run a company this efficiently and to think that the totally bugged systems they run is acceptable.

The staff is rude, the car is worn out, not cleaned, with torn tires, we waited for them to pick us up at the airport for 45 minutes, we had to wait 30 minutes to return the car, no one was in the office, the office is located 6-10 minutes from the airport in an old hangar, you have the feeling that you will be robbed or kidnapped! terrible experience

Awful company with absolutely no idea of what customer service is!
If you have to call them then all the advisors seem to do is “raise a ticket”. It then seems to be 5+ days before any sort of reply. If you decide to call back to chase up what is happening all the”advisors” then seem to do is “escalate the ticket”.
To make things even worse any error or mistake in being paid isn’t rectified there and then but instead paid with the next months amount causing the customer to be in debt for potentially several weeks!!
I can’t think of any company in this day and age to that gives such a poor level of customer service. Maybe they should take a look at places like Apple or Amazon who excel at it and how it should be done.
Unfortunately I’m stuck dealing with this company due to it being through my employer but if I had the choice I would never use them again!!!!

Mina / allstar are a professional organisation, if the self help portals don't work out then over the phone agents always more than happy to advise and raise a service ticket. All emails do get actioned in the advised service level agreement just need to be patient.
Truly terrible customer service
Truly terrible customer service. They promise to call back within 3 days if you have problems. No point of contact to escalate issues. 3 weeks and no ability to speak to anyone but incoming call handler. Dont expect issues to be resolved, call centre mentality.

Our journey was made smooth thanks to the incredible support we received. Our contract manager, Sam Calderbank deserves special recognition for being an absolute gem. Sam's dedication and assistance were invaluable throughout the entire process.
Great support received on an issue being experianced
Have experienced long outstanding issues trying to tie up my home charger with my Mina account and Max at Mina not only answered by questions, but gave me guidance on how to solve the problem. Excellent service.
