Good as new!

Excellent service again from Mint for Samsung TV warranty repair

I've had my Samsung TV repaired twice now in under 2 years. Both times Mint were excellent. Great communication when collecting, when my TV was repaired, and finally when returned. Repair and return was fast, you are at the whim of international shipping of replacement parts from Samsung (in my case), but I literally got a call two days after they collected my TV that it was repaired and ready for return - the part was ordered when I first touched base with Mint through the Samsung report a fault procedure and was in transit before they even collected my TV. Thanks to Darren and Josh for a polite, friendly and professional collection and return, and for the fast repair back at their base. Delighted I have my TV back as good as new and for the great service from Mint.

Poor!

Genuinely one of the most chaotic and poorly coordinated delivery experiences I’ve had.
I was provided with “live tracking” for my soundbar delivery and kept it open throughout the morning. I watched the estimated arrival time move from 10:15 to 1pm by 11am. I planned accordingly.
I then received a call from the driver saying they would arrive within 15 minutes. The live tracking showed them approximately two hours away. When I pointed this out, I was told they had “changed their route slightly.” A slight route change does not explain a two-hour discrepancy. If your tracking can be that inaccurate, it serves no practical purpose.
I had to urgently arrange for someone to be present. By the time the driver arrived, they were already in the process of cancelling the delivery until intercepted.
My partner was assured the unit had been “checked and double-checked.” When I unpacked it, the power plug — an essential component — was missing.
I then had to call Mint myself to chase this, as I received no proactive contact. I was told they would “chase the warehouse” and get back to me. What that means in practical terms remains unclear. If the plug is missing, it should simply be sent out immediately. Instead, I am still waiting for an update.
Between inaccurate tracking, near-cancelled delivery, missing parts, and no follow-up, this reflects a complete lack of coordination and basic quality control. Essential components should not go missing, and customers should not have to chase for resolution on errors that were not theirs.

Samsung Frame TV

Samsung Frame TV. Was experiencing issues with my tv turning itself on and off after relocating it to another room. Samsung gave me Mint's details for the repair. Mint came out within a couple of days to collect tv. Next working day had diagnosis. They called to make sure i was willing to go ahead with the repair as it was out of warranty so would be a chargeable repair. TV came back to me within a week like brand new. Darren even offered to set it all back up for me - thanks Darren.

Perfect repair service

Morey showed up with the right parts and clearly knew the issue in advance. The HDMI ports on my TV had stopped working, and since they handle Samsung warranty repairs, everything was quick and seamless. He made sure the TV was working perfectly, cleaned it carefully to avoid fingerprints, and even set it back on my TV stand after the repair. In and out in under 30 minutes. Excellent service.

This company charges a non refundable fee, even with advance cancellation

I paid for their service, and had to cancel the appt.
a week in advance, and they would not return all my money.
They charge 30 pounds just to cancel an appt.
They charge nothing if you rebook. They did not tell me this on the phone.
They said, It is in the terms and conditions, which you only receive after you pay the full cost of a repair.
This is further proof, of other reviews, they are a diabolical company! Resist using this company

Made me pay entire sum of a new tv.

They are scammers and unprofessional company. I do not recommend at all don’t even consider sending your tv etc. You will be scammed.

Disgraceful. Samsung taken action.

Update 28/01/26 – Samsung acts. MINT disgrace themselves.

Samsung took one look at the TV, recognised the faults immediately, and processed a full refund on return.

That swift action highlights just how badly MINT handled this from start to finish.

MINT’s service was nothing short of diabolical.

They attended my home for a Samsung warranty repair and managed to turn a faulty TV into a complete disaster.

They attempted multiple repairs, arrived the first time and cracked the replacement screen, damaged my wall, further damaged the original TV rendering it useless and then left us without a working tv.

8 days later they then fitted a replacement screen that was significantly worse than the original fault....

Brilliant work!

Despite clear photographic evidence showing severe dirty screen effect, heavy clouding, obvious vertical lines, and recurring software issues, MINT dismissed everything as “within specification.”

This verdict alone took nearly four weeks and involved endless chasing, ignored emails, and zero accountability. The attitude throughout was effectively “accidents happen” — an astonishing response when you leave a customer with an unusable 85” TV.

The moment Samsung reviewed the evidence directly, the faults were acknowledged and the issue was resolved without delay.

This was a warranty repair. I genuinely cannot imagine paying for this level of incompetence. If you value your time, your property, or your sanity, avoid MINT at all costs.

MINT’s handling of this matter showed a total absence of care, empathy, and accountability. Their behaviour suggested they believe working for Samsung places them beyond responsibility. This review exists to challenge that assumption and to ensure this conduct is visible to others. I really hope Samsung reconsider using these as their "authorised service centre"

Some bad review but my experience excellent!

There are a few bad reviews on here, but I must say having used Mint twice now to repair TVs, my experience has been fantastic. Tino M. Was great at his communication and kept me updated with all the options.

The two Samsung repairmen that arrived at my property did so promptly, worked with speed and efficiency, and even fixed an additional problem unrelated to the repair regarding the communication between my soundbar and the Samsung TV. Also provided some good advice on how to operate the TV.

As I said, how I've now used Mint twice without a problem, so would definitely recommend for Samsung TV repairs!

What a diabolical company to deal with

What a diabolical company to deal with, this is supposed to be an approved repair centre for a major electronics manufacturer?. It took me 5 attempts over 3 days to try and speak to someone (I was referred by samsung) and after spending something like 90mins on hold I still didn't get to speak to anyone. So I tried filling out an online form, I eventually got a call 3 days later, but just wanting info, which I couldn't supply as I wasn't at home. So when I got in, I sent the required info via email (as requested). However still no response, so I called again eventually getting to speak to someone, who told me I need a new 65"screen for my tv at an horrendous cost of £1400.00, and bearing in mind my screen was not cracked or damaged, so I asked how they could justify and say it needed a new screen when the havnt even been to look at it??.
I was given a blunt response in a "take it, or leave it, scenario. Diabolical company not helpful at all, and not willing to come and checkout my tv fault.
So in summary "Don't bother with this useless, and expensive company, that don't even like answering the phone, and don't waste your money on a samsung tv.

Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service. Could not replicate a fault (looking at the screen flicker on low backlight) despite TV being on test for 2 days but how their engineer could clearly see it and report the issue when picking up the TV from my house is beyond me!

The customer service is terrible as I’ve had to call them nearly every day this week to get an update and only when last chased I was told TV has no fault and will be returned. Despite numerous video evidence sent to them and their own engineer witnessing the faulty flickering screen!

Still no where further with this repair even though they have replaced the screen once already!

Unacceptable Service & Charging Customers for Engineer-Caused Damage

I am writing this review regarding service provided by MINT under a Samsung warranty repair contract.

This experience has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

The Issue: My Samsung dishwasher repair process spanned over two months. After a severe delay caused by an initial incorrect diagnosis from a MINT engineer, a second visit was scheduled on November 24th to finally replace the faulty inlet hose.

During this replacement, the MINT engineer damaged internal components of my appliance, specifically resulting in the bottom tray being misaligned and fouling the water sprinkler. The engineer noted this damage before leaving, confirming new parts were needed.

I was shocked when MINT subsequently contacted me to inform me that I would be charged for the parts damaged by their own engineer.

This service is disgraceful. Not only did I face weeks of waiting and incorrect diagnosis (which I had to pay a third party to correct), but MINT is now trying to make me pay for their employee's poor workmanship and damage.

I expect MINT to:

Acknowledge and pay for the cost of all parts damaged during their engineer's visit.

Assign a senior, expert engineer to finalize the repair on priority.

I strongly recommend caution when dealing with this service provider. They fail to take responsibility for their errors.

4 visits, issue was worse after first repair

4 visits. The fridge and freezer worked worse after first visit. Dents left in door hand, tools not at hand to complete job, so required more visits. No fridge for 5 weeks, and freezer working badly. Shocked Samsung is using this company.

Prompt TV repair

My new TV needed a repair which was still under guarantee, my supplier arranged for Mint to collect, repair and return. This was done efficiently. Pleased to be sent a tracking e mail from them so I could monitor the collection and return time. George was polite and checked the problem before he dismantled the TV and packaged it up securely. It was nice to have the same employee (George) return it to me within 4 working days in working order. Happy to recommend Mint.

Excellent Samsung washing machine warranty repair

Excellent service repairing my Samsung washing machine under warranty.

A small wait for an appointment but the staff called me when a sooner appointments became available. Their engineer (Nigel) was professional and immediately identified the problem & solution. The parts were ordered quickly and fitted the same week. The actual repair (replacing the drum & more) took less than 1 hour.

Horrendous service

I have a warranty with Samsung for a larder fridge which was reported faulty 6 October and then contracted to Mint.

Mint have taken 4 visits to NOT fix the machine and are insisting on yet another visit.

We are a family of 4 adults who have had no fridge for virtually all of October and between Mint and Samsung they keep pushing the ultimate requirement of a replacement fridge out.

When we ultimately replace the fridge it won't be Samsung and I would recommend NOT to buy their products

They clearly don't stand behind the quality of their work or value their customers.

I paid £1000 to have my TV screen replaced by this company, and the result was completely unacceptable. The new screen has visible scratches that are clearly noticeable when viewed closely. When I reported this issue, the company showed no interest whatsoever in taking responsibility or fixing the problem.
For the amount I paid, I expected professional workmanship and proper customer care — instead, I was met with indifference and poor service. This is not how a serious or reputable business should treat its customers.
I strongly advise others to think twice before using this company. They clearly don't stand behind the quality of their work or value their customers.

TINO The Brilliant And Exceptional Customer Services Agent!!

TINO who took my call and guided me through the entire process of booking an Engineer, setting up a Direct Debit and giving clear explanations of the Services to be provided, made me feel very much at home and allayed my fears. He provided a very safe environment for me and put my mind at ease. Such a Brilliant Agent. I didn’t think Customer Servants like Tino existed in this day and age of Negative World Events when most Call/Customer Agents seem exhausted, perplexed and are at best curt and abrupt with Customers. Where was he raised?? Who raised him?? Well-brought up individual and His manner was second to none. I tell you, he’s a great asset to Mint and please cherish him.
