Mint used to service my old alarm- always excellent service. However given that its over 26 yrs old they have now installed a new system. Engineer Lee Benfold was highly professional and worked quietly and efficiently to install the new alarm. He then was a model of patience explaining how to use it. I highly recommend.

Unreliable.Failed to contact when they said they would.Rang to complain.Spoke to Bridget Watson who never apologised but spent her time telling me how busy Paul was, it was his first day back after holiday.As a company they were short staffed she said, very busy, struggling to fit everything in and she'd not been able to go away with her husband as she was needed to help keep the company running.She was more interested in all the problems they had, which I don't want to know about, than saying sorry to me and what they would do.

As the manager of the prestigious Empress Building, I had the responsibility of supervising the installation of our new alarm system, conducted by Mint Security. After being walked through its functionality, I initially gave it my approval.

However, upon closer inspection, we discovered that the installation left much to be desired. What was disappointing was that the wiring had been haphazardly wrapped around the newly refurbished coving of our historic building, rather than being properly concealed or secured in protective trunking. This lack of attention to detail was unsightly and raised safety concerns.

When we brought this issue to Mint Security, we expected them to address our concerns promptly, considering the substantial investment we had made with them. Regrettably, they chose to hide behind the signed agreement and refused to correct their substandard work, revealing a disappointing lack of integrity.

We have since sought a second opinion from another qualified installer, whose report unequivocally described the job as "shoddy" and "unprofessional." Armed with this report, we are now seeking to recover our losses through appropriate channels.

Based on our experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend Mint Security for your security system needs. However, if you choose to proceed with them, we strongly advise thoroughly examining their installation work before signing off on the job, to avoid the unfortunate situation we found ourselves in.

I contacted mint to arrange a quote for CCTV and got a call back from Paul. we discussed my situation on Friday afternoon and he got back to me later on Friday with a quote for the works - out of his normal working hours. we discussed the pros and cons of using other companies and he gave me a lot of honest advice, how mint aren't the cheapest, but they are well regulated and why their systems are worth the extra.

The two gents who came to do the install did an excellent job, they were extremely friendly, tidied up after themselves and followed social distancing guidelines.

their usual protocol is to run cable through trunking, though i asked if they could put it behind the plaster board wall, and they did despite this being more work for them.

after the install was complete, they helped set up the system and tweaked the cameras to position them exactly as i wanted, it was dark at this point, but the guys kept going until all was fully complete.

i got a courtesy call from Paul while the operatives were completing the installation to ask how it was all going which was great.

Every member of their team has been a joy to work with and I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering their service.
