We’ve had about 10 years with half our house living underneath beech trees and the moss being really thick. Not only that, we had many valleys where serious undergrowth was starting to take hold. So much so, a neighbour from a distance noticed. So we decided it was time to have it all cleaned. We had heard the horror stories of companies that jet wash so looked for someone who would scrap the moss. Daniel came and did a survey, gave a quote with detail about work that would be done. He turned up really early in the morning and spent all day on our extensive roof, the work taking four days in total. He also treated the roof tiles with biocide and replaced a few broken tiles as well as cementing in a few loose ones. He left the premises immensely clean, and the only way you’d know he had been was the almost new roof. It’s given our house a much needed street appeal improvement. I didn’t realise how bad it had got until we compared to the neighbours. We’ve had lots of comments since, and we’re super pleased with the results and would not hesitate in recommending Daniel/Mister Moss. We’ll have Daniel back at least annually to keep on top of the beech tree moss deposits.

I wanted to get the moss removed from my roof prior to having solar panels fitted. Daniel/Mister Moss came out and provided a competitive quote. He actually scraped the moss from the roof and applied a moss prevention treatment as well as replacing a bit of felt and roof tiles where an old tank overflow pipe was. He tidied up really well. Alternative company priced on basis of mostly relying on spraying the moss to kill it and weathering over 6 months for the moss to come off. That was too long a timescale due to solar timescales and just means the debris mostly goes into the guttering and downpipes. Very pleased with the service.

From original contact to job completion, Daniel did everything right. Turned up on time to assess the job, sent the quotation promptly, booked the job to suit us both and did the work effectively and efficiently.

Did a really good job in the time allotted despite some dodgy weather. He just gets on with it, no trouble, and tidies up after himself. He can also repair any damage to the roof, and sprays it all afterwards to prevent re-growth. Definitiely recommend him as there is no pressurised jetwashing going on, it's all done carefully by hand.

What a fantastic job. I couldn't be happier. Daniel is punctual and a hard worker despite the challenging weather. The roof looks amazing as do the gutters and windows. Every trace of moss and dirt removed from the roof was cleaned up and taken away. I would highly recommend Daniel.

Daniel's work was of a very high standard, he was friendly and polite at all times. Everything was covered well to minimise moss mess and all areas were tidied up afterwards and left neat and tidy.
Our roof is now totally moss free and Daniel also replaced some broken tiles for us, carefully fitting them to make the roof look good.

A very professional job done by Daniel, from initial contact, detailed quote setting out clearly what would be included in the price, and excellent work. All moss was removed by scraping and brushing which is what I wanted rather than power hosing which is what a lot of companies use. Broken tiles were replaced and gutters cleaned and repaired where necessary. Everything was left clean and tidy.

Booked Mister Moss to clear the moss off our roof. Daniel turned up when he said he would, did a great job, replaced a couple of broken tiles and took all the waste away. He charged a fair price, and I'm happy to recommend him.
