Extremely disappointing and frustrating…
Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I paid a deposit for a car that was advertised in a way that gave me a very different impression from what I found when I actually went to view it.
What makes matters worse is that I was not informed about multiple advisories recorded on the MOT, including issues which, in my view, could potentially have serious safety implications. These are not minor details that I would expect to be overlooked when selling a vehicle.
The MOT is also due to expire in just one month. I even offered to pay for the cost of putting the car through another MOT at that point, so that the condition of the vehicle could be properly established, but this was refused.
Had I been made aware of the MOT advisories and the actual condition of the vehicle beforehand, I would never have paid the deposit.
Despite all of this, the company is refusing to refund my deposit. The way this situation has been handled has been extremely disappointing and has left me feeling completely let down as a customer.
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle from this company to do their own thorough checks, obtain the full MOT history and inspect the vehicle extremely carefully before handing over any money.
Based on my experience, I would not buy from this company again. Think very carefully before giving them your money.

MK Performance Group strongly disputes this review.
We have checked our records and have no record of this individual purchasing a vehicle from us, paying us a deposit, or entering into any transaction with MK Performance Group.
Most importantly, MK Performance Group has not been operating as a vehicle dealership for approximately 18 months. We have therefore not been taking deposits or conducting vehicle sales during the period described in this review.
We have requested that Trustpilot investigate this review and require appropriate evidence of the alleged transaction, including evidence that any deposit was actually paid to MK Performance Group.
We are currently dealing with a separate matter involving threatening and harassing communications concerning our business, which has been reported to the police. We are preserving relevant evidence and cooperating with the authorities. We will not publicly speculate as to whether the author of this review is connected to that matter unless and until this is established.
The allegations made in this review are serious and damaging. If an individual is deliberately publishing false statements concerning our company, we reserve all of our legal rights, including the right to seek legal advice regarding defamation and recovery of any losses caused.
If the reviewer genuinely believes they paid MK Performance Group a deposit, we ask them to provide Trustpilot with documentary evidence showing the vehicle registration, date, amount paid, payment recipient/account details and sales documentation. We are confident that our records will demonstrate that no such transaction took place with us.
We respectfully request that Trustpilot investigate and remove the review if the reviewer cannot substantiate that they were genuinely a customer of MK Performance Group.
Bought a car from motortown also…
Bought a car from motortown also known as Mk performance cars from delivery issues needed a new windscreen and black Smokey smell coming from the front of the engine turns out to be needs a new turbo also MOT was not done correctly due to windscreen and exhaust is coming into the vehicle needed the service rear brake pads and discs also found out from the original dealership that service the vehicle in January, but this issue was diagnosed by them and has been logged on their system I’ve already sent a letter recorded stating these issues and they have seen all my WhatsApp messages. The car is unusable due to exhaust fumes coming into the vehicle and so far I’m £1000 out-of-pocket I’ve own the vehicle for less than a month and a half if this is not resolved soon, court action will be the next step Citroen ds7 22 reg

MK Performance Group has not been actively trading for approximately 18 months, and we have no record of selling the Citroën DS7 described in this review.
Your review also refers to “Motortown” and “MK Performance Cars”. We cannot establish from the information provided that the transaction described was with MK Performance Group.
We take genuine customer concerns seriously and would never wish to prevent a legitimate customer from raising an issue. However, given the serious allegations contained in this review, we would ask that you please provide Trustpilot with evidence identifying the business from which the vehicle was purchased, such as your sales invoice/order form, vehicle registration and date of purchase.

Freddie helped make the whole experience super easy, I felt just as important to him buying my little C3 than if I was buying a high end Range Rover!
The pricing was excellent and the warranty a nice touch for extra piece of mind.
