Bought a Toyota C-HR, from Monasterevin Motors in December 2025. Sales man John was very professional, and easy to deal with. I got a fair deal on a trade in, and the whole process was easy and effecient .
Iv been driving the car now since 12/25 without any problems. Very reliable.

The staff are always efficient, professional and courteous with any business dealings with Monasterevin Motors over the years.
The Annual check-up on our 2020 Prius was performed efficiently and thoroughly.
They even washed and vaccumed our car :) which was much appreciated.
The pricing is fair and the staff undertake their customer service very seriously, our delings; Kelli Donoghue was excellent, no request was ever left aside.
Due to great customer service, we highly recommend Monasterevin Motors as an all round sound family business that welcomes us back every time.

From the first moment I stepped into the forecourt, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.
I can't remember the name of the younger man who was learning the trade, but he was so thoughtful. After I had bought the car and pulled in at the side of the road to figure out something, he happened to be finished for the day, spotted the car and pulled in to make sure all was OK.

John was the salesman I dealt with, he was a gentleman and emphasised that buying the car was only the beginning of our relationship because the after sales service was very much what they prided themselves on in monastervin motors. He even put petrol in the car as a good luck gesture. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car.

I recently purchased my first Toyota from John O’Rourke at Monasterevin Motors. Excellent friendly and efficient service throughout the whole process. As I was not familiar with some of the controls,John checked back with me and assured me that I could call back in at any time for help. Nothing was too much trouble for him

I broke down unexpectedly on the motorway—luckily, just outside Monasterevin. After calling several garages around Portlaoise and being told I’d face a three-week wait, someone recommended Monasterevin Motors as an official Toyota service provider. From the moment I phoned, they were warm, helpful, and reassuring. They told me their turnaround time was about a week, which already felt like a miracle.

When I arrived with the recovery service, they checked my car in immediately. A mechanic kindly offered to have a quick look there and then, and within minutes I had a preliminary diagnosis and a clear estimate. They explained they’d carry out full diagnostics the next day and keep me updated.

Being three hours from home, I was stuck—but when I asked for help getting a taxi to the Portlaoise train station, Brandon in the office insisted on driving me himself. A 50-minute round trip, done without hesitation, and he refused any petrol money. Absolutely above and beyond.

By lunchtime the next day, they confirmed their initial diagnosis, shared a full diagnostic report for my dealer to check warranty options, and reconfirmed the cost (which was incredibly fair). Two days later, they called to say the car was ready for collection—well ahead of schedule—and once again offered to pick me up from the train station.

The entire turnaround took just 2.5 working days, not the week originally quoted. They even waived the diagnostic fee to keep the cost down.

From the reception staff to the mechanics and parts team, every single person I met was kind, professional, and genuinely wanted to help. They used all official Toyota parts, gave clear updates at every stage, and treated me like a long-time customer—not someone who just showed up out of the blue with a broken-down car.

Breaking down on a motorway was stressful, but the team at Monasterevin Motors completely turned that experience around. I genuinely feel lucky to have found them—and I’m seriously considering making them my regular mechanic, even though they’re a three-hour drive from home.

I couldn't recommend them more highly. A gold standard in customer service.

We recently bought our first electric car, having previously had a Hybrid, from Monasterevin Motors.This is our 3rd consecutive car to buy from this garage and it's their reliability and service that keep us going back. John O'Rourke is a good decent fella that will always look after you and is good for a bit of banter along the way! Great salesman and a very kind man who has a word for everyone who drives into the garage, even the children. Kelli Donoghue called us a few weeks later then to check that everything was going well with the car and to see if there was anything else we needed. Again, a lovely genuine girl who helps make what is great about the team in Monasterevin Motors and is what keeps us going back time and time again. Our most recent purchase, a Toyota BZ4X, is an amazing car and with it being our first electric car, John made sure we knew everything in relation to charging, milage range and how to get the best out of our car. I can't recommend this garage highly enough.

Sold me a car with Dpf problems. Check engine light came on driving it home. Low oil light and particle filter. No comeback on it. Car now getting scrapped.

A pleasure to deal with . John was super , no question to big or to small or even silly . Cathal explained everything in great detail about the technology when I had a few questions. The exceeded my expectations and can only highly recommend them .

We are absolutely bowled over by the amazing customer service at Monasterevin Motors. They spent ages checking out our beloved elderly Mercedes, gave us so much information and support and lent us a courtesy car while they investigated major issues with our car.
