A delightful gift to give
I was so pleased to find this as an unusual gift. The ordering was straightforward, and the item delivered very promptly. The recipient was so pleased with the surprise and the choices. I'm not sure if she's had chance to make them yet.

A delightful Tart au Citron
A lovely and delightful box full of ingredients to make a Tart au Citron. The ingredients are all measured into sachets and the instructions were simple to follow. Overall a lovely and tasty lemon tart. If there was a full recipe card within the box, that would of been good rather than having to use scan a GR code on a mobile phone to view the recipe online.
Other than that, I would definitely like to try out some other baking kits from the Mondessert website.

Love this service but the citron tart was a little too tart
I love the kits usually and did enjoy the base for the citron tart but I found the filling very tart and much darker than the photo.

Helps you achieve and enjoy amazing desserts
I would not say that I am a confident baker at all, but I do like a fine dessert. The Mon Dessert kits have helped me make desserts that I never thought I could achieve. I wowed friends and myself! And enjoyed a unique delicious dessert in the process. Fantastic idea and execution. To my knowledge no one else offers a similar selection of recipes with refined ingredients. Highly recommended!

Disappointing
I was gifted a 3 month subscription at Christmas and I am sad to say I have found the whole experience quite disappointing. I was missed off the mail list at the start so didn't get a heads up about the upcoming kit which allows subscriber to decide if they may like to skip that month. The QR codes included in the boxes are supposed to take you to the recipe however, I have found that they often only take you to a teaser trailer or to the product purchase list. So invariably I have had to go find the recipe myself. The makes themselves are why I gave any stars, as on the whole I have managed to produce a delicious dessert not counting this months tart au citron which turned out a dubious colour due to the coconut palm sugar supplied and not a lovely lemony hue as pictured! The kits are well packaged and have everything you need to complete the recipe. My fave make us the chocolate tart which has become a family favourite. To be fair I have been gifted an extra months subscription as an apology but I feel sad that a gift turned into a bit of a burden through having to chase/query my subscription on more than one occasion.

Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate all feedback good or bad. After all, we are making these products for you. Sorry for the rather lengthy response back, we just want to make sure we have responded to every point you have made adequately.
Firstly we do apologise that you were left off the email list the first time around. I hope that this issue was resolved and that email notifications reached you in the end. This can sometimes happen for technical reasons that I do not want to bore you with, but we are working hard to ensure this does not happen in the future.
With regards to the QR codes, we have had a complete overhaul of our website, brand and products. During this change, some of the older videos and recipes were not switched over, which may be the problem you are eluding to. I hope again that when you contacted customer service they were able to send you to the correct page. We are currently looking at giving you a full written and voice-over and subtitled video tutorial for every single kit, we are about 70% there, but there are some recipes in transition. We do apologise for this.
Thank you for your lovely comments about the desserts. Yes, you are quite right, the coconut palm does somewhat change the colour of the lemony tart you may have been expecting. We have had many customers ask us for unrefined sugars so we wanted to give them what they wanted. We will take this away and look to introduce a less highly coloured sugar, especially in such a delicate tart. So many thanks for that feedback.
Last but not least for the disappointment caused we would gladly love to offer another kit for free. We shall email you separately to organise how we might get this to you. We would happily gift you a chocolate tart kit, or otherwise, we have a whole host of other exciting kits out at the moment that we would love for you to try!

Salted chocolate tart - good enough to lie for
What a lovely, hidden gem. Exquisite salted chocolate tart. Every time I’m invited to a dinner party I’m going to bring it along and try to pass it off as my own. If everyone else enjoys it as much as I did and news gets out, I suspect I’ll be rumbled as a charlatan chef pretty damn quick.

Love these kits
Love these kits. I've used both the macaron and valentines chocolate making kit and both were really easy to follow and turned out perfectly. I feel like a 'real' pastry chef or pâtissier :)
I like the move towards more sustainable packaging too - big plus!!

Making the difficult easy!
I absolutely love this company - I enjoy baking /cooking but the more complex patisserie is too time consuming to source everything. It’s straight forward, simple with clear instructions and we loved the end product of delicious macaroons! Will be ordering as presents for everyone going forward such a unique gift.

Highly recommend the celebration cake kit
I bought the celebration kit with moulds for my Step-Dad’s 70th and it was absolutely brilliant! I will definitely be purchasing again for other birthdays. It was such a hit with all the family! I’m not a natural Mary Berry, so this was absolutely ideal for me! Would highly recommend.

I bought it as a gift for by 12 year old niece. The packaging is gorgeous and the directions were so easy to follow. She loved making the reset with her friends. She talked her mom into setting up the subscription.

Amazing stylish dessert kits
I enjoyed using Mon Dessert dessert making kits. Some of the kits are easy and fun to make with my 6 years old daughter, some are stunning looking and great for dinner parties!
I also love the facts that there are dairy free and often gluten free. Easy to follow the instructions on video as well!
