There are too many reviews about monsterwatches that can scare the general public. It is correct that communication is limited when you need help, however, it is important to know this is a genuine website. I was personally hesitant to purchase after reading on the internet about delays of delivery and lack of communication.
I took a leap of faith after double checking the item I needed and made a purchase via their payment portal (paypal) which has added protection.

Straight away, automatic acknowledge of payment. Following day, another email stating processing. Two days after this acknowledgement of posting. Then the waiting of the item as it travelled many miles to arrive. In a matter of a week, my item arrived.

My only gripe I would state is that they should use better packaging to protect the item, however, this is my personally point of view. The item arrived fine.

Overall, it is trustworthy. One star less due to poor communication. Improve on this, and it can be a 5 star company.

Genuine review. I just wanted to support Rob, despite him angrily telling me never to contact him again, which is a shame as I probably would of given him more money.

The good: Rob is a passionate Seiko fanboy, very experienced and the work I got from him were great. He sourced a NOS Seiko BFK PVD, fitted a sterile chapter ring, SUN hands, a blue AR double domed sapphire, a new uprated capacitor and blacked out the crown colouring. Everything was perfect and the watch looked fantastic, I was very happy.

The bad: All this took several months! I was ok with this. Remember, a lot of watch nerds are on at least one sort of spectrum and I suspect Rob is no different. I was ao happy with the BFK I asked Rob to mod another watch for me, a Seiko field watch. Shortly after I asked him to do this I cancelled the order via email, he never replied, which is often the case with him. Later on he contacted me to take payment saying he had bought the watch, to which I apologised that I had cancelled via email. He got very upset and told me never to contact him again, despite me proving the email was sent.

He obviously never checked his email, or spam regularly and obviously he could of asked for a deposit up front. It wasn't nice being gaslighted and I felt upset he would never work for me again and bad he bought a watch he didn't want.

So. I can see both sides of the story. If you are non UK / Europe based then Yobokies might be a better bet, but if you in rhe UK as I am and are prepared to wait, several months for a mod! Then personally I would still trust him because the work be did for me was perfect.

Levert op tijd maar communicatie zou beter kunnen.Ik heb verschillende bestellingen bij Rob gedaan en weet je dat het goed komt.
Laatst een horloge besteld waar de band schakels van kunststof zijn en afbrokkelden.Hij heeft een vervangende band toegestuurd op zeer korte termijn en deze vertoonde de zelfde problemen.Rob een mailtje gestuurd en de volgende dag lag er al een rubberen band als vervanger zonder kosten en gezeur.
Top Rob een fijne service bedankt.

Lovely new upgraded heavier bracelet and slim case back has transformed my Seiko 5 which is now looking amazing..... and it only took 1 week to arrive to me in the UK. Excellent.

Nothing worked, the watch never arrived and after 2.5 months I only got my money back. Time and nerves lost, nothing more!

I ordered a watch and a bracelet and he sent a watch with a dial blemish and the wrong bracelet so I had to return both for an exchange.

The whole thing took for 4 months despite him having the replacement items in stock and I returned the wrong ones items within a week or so from initial purchase.

For each one of his responses I had to send three or four follow up mails.

He didn't replace the watch as soon as he got it back and confirmed it was defective despite having one in stock, he just ordered another one from Seiko and then blamed Seiko for delaying his order!

He also didn't ever return the shipping return money nor responded to any mails about it despite him saying that he will include them in cash(!) in the return parcel.

Please do not support this guy, if you have any alternatives.
If you have to get something from him please use PayPal and hope he gets your order right in the first place or be sure there will be trouble!

I've been shopping stuff for years over random sites and I can honestly say this was my worst sales and support experience of all time.

Op zondag horloge besteld. Helaas zonder orderbevestiging of iets dergelijks. Dag later gemaild met de vraag of alles wel goed doorgekomen was.

Dag later reactie vanuit Rob dat het horloge al onderweg was met een track en trace code.

Alles netjes geleverd en heel blij mee.

Communicatie misschien niet het beste vak, maar op horloge gebied wel!

I struggled to get a set of hands which matched the lume on my OEM dial. The ones I bought previously were either too white or too green. Stumbled across Monster watches.eu on a forum and decided to try them out. The hands I received were really well made and were a perfect match. I received them 7 days after ordering and won't hesitate to buy from them again.

Zeer slechte ervaring! Een horloge besteld en na een verzendbevestiging te hebben gekregen al 2 weken niets ontvangen. Dan maar juridische stappen ondernemen! Betaal altijd met een credit card zodat je gratis bijstand hebt in zulke gevallen

15 days after taking my money he decided to ship my order. He has not responded to any of my emails asking why it hasnt shipped. The 1 star reviews are true and he is a terrible vendor to deal with for after support. I regret buying from him and supporting this type of behaviour. Spend your money elsewhere, where they treat you like a human being.

The money is good for them, but they don't bother to send the product within a reasonable time.
Post NL has been waiting for the package to be sent for a week already.I really don't recommend monsterwatches

Ik was al snel uitgekeken op mijn nogal zwarte Seiko SRPD65K2 en was alweer aan het kijken voor iets nieuws en stuitte in mijn zoektocht op Monsterwatches. Op de website raakte ik geïnspireerd om mijn huidige horloge op te frissen met saffierglas, een veel mooiere bezel-insert dan de huidige saaie en een elegante oranje seconde. Binnen een week (!) mijn nieuw gepimpte horloge terug, veel beter dan ik had durven hopen, echt een nieuwe look voor véél minder geld dan een nieuw horloge. Ik kan Monsterwatches dan ook oprecht aanbevelen aan iedereen die zijn Seiko wil personaliseren.

I purchased a gasket for my SKX007 watch from Rob. We encountered an issue with my local postal service (their fault), but he was very prompt in addressing it. It was a great experience ordering from him.

Bought some parts for my first SKX build, a bezel, a couple of bezel inserts and a few straps. All of them made by the shop. The quality is great. The bezel fits the case -made by Namoki- better than the original Namoki bezel. The luminous bezel insert has a great lume, which matches the original Seiko dial's lume colour perfectly. The straps I bought are also very well made and sturdy.
Truth be told, I had to send a couple of emails in order to make a change in my order, instead of one. However, the ordering process was alright. I was notified when the order was ready to be shipped and I was a given the tracking info automatically.
All in all, I would gladly shop here again.

The seller is a fraud, absolutely no communication, does not respond to emails. lucky so i used paypal and got my money back

Vorige week heb ik een klein Seiko horloge besteld en betaald. Het enige wat ik heb ontvangen was een "orderbevestiging". Paar e-mails gestuurd, geen enkele reactie. En geen horloge opgestuurd. Ik ga mijn geld terugvragen via mijn bank. Dit is belachelijk gedrag voor een "officiële dealer" zoals Monsterwatches zichzelf noemt.
