We purchased a Ford echo sport.
We purchased a Ford echo sport.
I was not sure what I was requiring, I spoke with Wayne, who offered advice and support around my budget etc.
The biggest part of this was he didn’t push or force any sale of the vehicle, everything was done at my pace.
Once I identified the car I collected it the following day, the couple of little things on the paint work were addressed and the sale was complete.
Wayne is a credit to your business and the way he sold us the car the finance and the added cover was great all within on my budget.
I can not fault this service at all.
My daughter purchased a car previously from you and the experiance again was top notch.
I would like to thank Wayne again for his work.

Excellent service overall Very helpful salesperson.
Only thing that was frustrating was poor communication following visit to Motorpoint when I spoke to member of staff with a query on same day of visit and asked to speak to salesperson and was told they would pass message on and call me back but that didn’t happen
Again Motorpoint rang on 3 separate occasions 5 days later however it wasn’t the same number given to me by salesperson and no voicemail was left so I didn’t answer thinking it was a scam. The calls were to tell me the car was in the garage having been delivered from another garage. I could have had car earlier than when I purchased it. The salesperson did apologise.

Bought a car 4 months ago
Bought a car 4 months ago. Not done many miles. Paid over £20,000 with 3 years warranty. I always wait a little before reviewing. And this why... 4 new tyres after 4 months when you pay that much money is mental!!!
Not sure who they have completing the MOT and service in there. A garage who pride themselves as much as these guys so surely shouldn't be this awful?
Please pay an extra 2k and buy from an actual audi, cupra or BMW garage etc. They are just roll in roll out and only care for quick sales.
Also 1 other thing to mention. About a week after you buy your car they absolutely hound you to review them. Clearly they're trying to get you to give them a good review while you're happy with your new car before it has several problems in 3 months

Our vehicles go through very specific PDI checks to meet our Motorpoint standards before the vehicles are sold. Reece and Lee were very approachable…
Reece and Lee were very approachable and able to answer my questions and queries on the whole purchase process. One disappointment is the tyre pressure warning light came on as I drove off the forecourt & 2 wheels were missing dust caps. Easily rectified with Amazon.

Usually a 5 star service
Usually a 5 star service, not this time however.
This is the 4th car we have bought from Motorpoint in the last 2 years.
As I said , usually 5 star service
It has to be said though that the salesperson who dealt with us was amazing, very helpful and had plenty of time to go through everything and explain any queries we had etc, couldn’t fault her (Kate Smith at Birtley branch)
On collection of the car there should have been a mot and service carried out, I was informed that the mot had been done but the service hadn’t, no problem, can bring it back for service.
On checking car, it was found that the passenger seat switch wasn’t working,they took it to workshop and said required a new switch.
Switched ordered and car booked in for switch fitted and service.
So far so good 👍🏻
When I got home I noticed sat nav not working and car wasn’t showing as mot complete on gov website, also, car not cleaned inside, took photos and went back next day.
Workshop looked at satnav and said they would get back to me, they still said car had mot done.
On further investigation, workshop informed Kate that it hadn’t been done.
Received phone call, it needed to get booked in for sat nav repair.
Car was booked in for mot, service,sat nav and seat switch,
All completed and sorted without problem.
My gripe is however, that when I mentioned again about the interior and showed the pictures of the dirt etc inside the car I was told that customer services wouldn’t book it back in as it had already been in once for other stuff and wasn’t allowed to be booked in again so there was nothing they could do !!
That to me is not acceptable,
That one thing has spoilt an otherwise 5 star review for me.
Again, Kate was amazing throughout.
Everything else was great but selling a dirty car is a definite no for me.
Looks like I will be footing the bill to have a valet done on the car.
Updated after reply from Motorpoint
Pleased to hear you are reviewing procedures going forward, however, that is no help to me.
Still leaves me paying for a “comprehensive interior cleaning”
