If I Could Iwould give -5 star, very bad after sale Customer Service.

PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING

BEFORE YOU SIGN THE PAPERWORK MAKE SURE YOUR VERY HAPPY WITH THE CAR AND PAINT WORK.

I went in to collect 2 cars 1st car a 24 reg with 10,110 miles on it, and the 2nd one a 25 reg with 12 miles on it, and ended up letting them to sort it out and I be back in a weeks time, the problem was the cars was washed not done right, and had scratches and bird poo all over them.
I said to them mope the cars then polish them it will take the scratches out, they didnt know what mopping was on cars BELLS STARTED RINGING, and the sales staff didn't know as well ????.
A week later I went to see the cars and the salesman said he done the work more question marks came up,
After a week of having the cars I washed them and found out that the scratches, and bird poo was till there, so I called the salesman and his answer was you signed the paperwork end off. I was very surprised and disappointed, and ended up getting a threatening email from the salesman.

The salesman said he only polished them when i said mope 1st then polish, looks like they can not ear as well.

I did say I be back to the salesman. (NOT)

It's a shame that the management didnt called me regarding it and I was told by the salesman of what he done, when I said mope the paint work then polish it will take out the birds droppings, but the salesman that done it said to me by email he didn't do the just polished it, so when you polish a car it just covers it up until later you wash it and uncover the bird droppings again, so I dont thing your staff have got any idea how to prepare a car for the customer, you just wnat the money.

Thank you for your review.

This matter has been closely monitored throughout and has since been fully investigated by management.

Regarding the condition of the vehicle, all vehicles receive a standard interior and exterior clean prior to collection. We do not advertise or provide a full valet service, as our facilities are not equipped for this level of preparation. The mark you referred to was identified as a bird lime stain that had stained into the paintwork. This was subsequently polished and resolved.

Our vehicle preparation team are fully trained and certified in the use of machine polishers, with all prep staff required to complete mandatory training before carrying out this work. Following our investigation, we are satisfied that the correct procedures were followed.

All vehicles are prepared in line with our company standards and undergo multiple quality control inspections before being presented to customers. The minor cosmetic marks identified were deemed to be within our preparation standards. Despite this, our team made every effort to address your concerns and resolve the issues raised.

It is also our understanding that you visited the site prior to your scheduled collection appointment to inspect the vehicle and were satisfied with its condition. You then attended your collection appointment the following day, where the vehicle was reviewed again. Following this inspection, you proceeded with the purchase and signed the relevant documentation confirming acceptance of the vehicle.

We have also reviewed the email correspondence relating to this matter, we operate a zero tolerance policy towards any communication that is aggressive, coercive or threatening in any nature. Our investigation found that all communications from our team were professional, appropriate, and in line with company expectations given. This correspondence has been reviewed by management as part of the investigation.

While we appreciate your feedback, we are satisfied that the vehicle was prepared in accordance with our standards and that your concerns were addressed appropriately by the team.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Told company I had 3 week time frame to get a new car, it was important that it was done in this time. Took a day off work to collect last Tuesday, was told on the Sunday there was a problem with the car, it had been transported to Ipswich but there was a problem. Told it would be driven to Norwich to get problem sorted, was told 3 different stories about what was wrong with the car and questioned if I was being lied too, but told no, but obviously 2 people were lying as they were giving different reasons. Was promised the car would be ready by this Wednesday, 2 weeks from initial deposit, was meant to be kept updated, nobody rang me, I had to keep chasing, still don’t know what the problem was with the car, how long it would take to be fixed and was told ‘don’t know’ on Monday. Surely after a week, someone should have been able to tell me something, when apparently it was having diagnostics on the Friday before? Was meant to be collecting today, couldn’t even be bothered to ring up and listen to s pack of lies again, after once again, nobody could be bothered to pick up a phone to call me . Now have 2 days to get another car, which -Available Car have helped me with, but thanks to Motorpoint I have incurred expenses from having to get temporary insurance because I have now missed my time frame. Had 3 people apparently dealing with this and not one person has apologised to me, this is the worst customer service I have ever had from any company, I can only imaging what it would be like once you bought the car!!!! I would steer clear of Ipswich branch, they can’t even get their stories straight before they speak to you.

It is important to me that you, and all customers, trust everything that is said to you by myself or any member of my Team.

Please know that I do gently take exception to the version of events, especially with the suggestion of lies being told. I had been dealing with two cases on the morning I called you and the moment you questioned what I was referring to, I apologised, admitted my error, and evident lapse in cognitive ability, explained the above and gave you relevant information relating to your car - truly I am sorry that this led you to an incorrect conclusion that I was lying. I can understand how you might arrive at that conclusion but would like to make it very clear this is not a fair representation of me and my values.

Trust is a fundamental part of all business transactions. The conversation we had was sincere and at no point did I give you a premeditated untruth. Lying is for children and politicians.

I called you to reassure you that we would run the car to Norwich acknowledging your tight time frame. I committed that the car would be back from the Prep centre for Wednesday which you were happy with. This is the time frame we were working to.

Having dropped the car to Norwich and awaited their assessment, they were able to fix the front parking sensors and have the car ready by the Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, by that time you, had cancelled with the online sales exec.

Thank you and I hope you choose to use Motorpoint again at some point in the future.

Great experience

Everybody at the Ipswich branch are so friendly that it does not matter who you see they will help you in any way you need. Though there were a few problems these were all sorted in a professional and timely manner. Could not recommend this branch of Motorpoint more. Prices of the vehicles are always either the same or cheaper than any other company I have dealt with. Thank you.

My experience was fantastic

My experience was great . There a relaxed.l approach when I entered the car sales . Greeted with a smile and hanshake and formal names. I felt very comfortable . There was no pressure at all into buying a car . I was offered a beverage and use of toilet . James and declan were very courteous and polite . I was shown the cars i wanted to look at and offered a test drive . Everything was above board and gueniune. I was helped to find the right car for me which was very which was very helpful and I was completely satisfied. car was cleaned and immaculate before I took it home. Tyres were checked before I left to go home and new tyres replaced.quickly.. I was very satisfied with my car . James and declan were amazing nice and polite and trustworthy. I woild definitely shop there again in the future and have already recommended them to friends.

Fantastic service from start to finish

Fantastic service from start to finish. Saw the car I wanted and they rang me about the car almost immediately. I spoke to Michael who was super helpful. They arranged to move it from Newport to Ipswich. I was updated throughout. Again when I picked the car up, Cameron was brilliant. I would recommend Motorpoint to anyone wanting a new car. Great service, great price and a fantastic car.
