Paid for front & rear dash cams to be fitted,went to collect vehicle only to be told they had ran out of stock. Was told they would be in touch, heard nothing, so i had to do the chasing only to be told nothing had been ordered or arranged as I was told by the salesman.

Everyone i had contact with during my dealing with buying my car couldn't have been more helpful, there was no pressure from anybody i came in to contact with who didn't give me their full attention and were very knowledgeable . A great experience and I would recommend them to everyone.

I bought a car for £2100 from motor point peterborough ony came with one key was not told about it now they told me not there problem so will not put things right bad company to use stay away from the lieing people who work there

False MOT claims, scare tactics, and ruined paint.
I purchased a £15k car from this branch on the condition that I would be satisfied with the MOT. They did it that day and informed me it passed with zero advisories.

The Brake / MOT Deception:
A week later, my brakes began squeaking. The branch dismissed it as "forecourt rust that needs time to wear off." Less than 2,000 miles later, an official Audi health check revealed that both front and rear pads and discs were heavily worn and near their legal limits (back at 75% worn, and front at 85% worn). The manager, James Astill, confirmed that brakes under 3mm should show as an advisory. Mine were well below that. When the warning lights came on, I told Bethany Ryman I wanted to reject the car. She used manipulative scare tactics, claiming I would lose a massive amount of money via "market value deductions" and a mileage penalty, or forced me into an exchange. Why would I exchange for another car from a dealer I couldn't trust?

They hit me with a brick wall, stating they "would not change their stance." They were so stubborn that they refused to pay the replacement cost for months—even when escalated to the CEO. They legally forced me into the ADR scheme. Unbelievably, the dealership preferred to pay a £250+ ADR scheme fee just to be forced to pay me £292.91 for the 85% worn front axle components rather than resolve it amiably. Worse yet, they greedily refused to pay for the rear axle components, which were documented at 75% worn. This means all four wheels were heavily degraded at the point of sale. Both 75% and 85% wear rates directly violate their manager's own 3mm safety advisory threshold, meaning they intentionally hid defects across the entire vehicle just to protect their profit margins.

The Paintwork & Prep Disaster:
After taking my cash, they promised a full machine paint restoration ("mop"). I had to bring the car back twice. On the second appointment, I explicitly warned them I needed the car back by 3:00 PM. They assured me it would be fine. I sat in their office for hours, only to walk outside just before the agreed time to find my car still sitting outside untouched.When Bethany Ryman finally brought it out, I told her directly I was not happy; you could clearly see deep smudge marks and swirls. She casually told me to "bring it back again." Having completely lost trust, I took it elsewhere to see if it could be fixed by hand. It looked great at first, but after a couple of months, the fillers washed away and the deep rotary buffer marks showed through again. They permanently damaged my paintwork (costing £1500 to correct) and are now hiding behind the closed ADR scheme (which only looked at the front brakes) to escape accountability.

Other Mechanical Failures:
Within the first 3 months, I also had to claim on the warranty for a broken washer fluid bottle and replace defective windshield wipers right after purchase. An authorized Audi main dealer explicitly documented them as "smearing and worn." The smearing wipers alone should have failed the initial MOT, while the broken fluid bottle proves how poorly the car was prepared.

They have dragged this out for over a year and one month now without resolving the issues. They are unethical operators who use false compliance claims and do not care about customer safety. Once they have your hard-earned cash, customer service completely vanishes. Do not make the same mistake I did. Think wisely before buying from them

Great choice of cars at very competitive prices. Cars are presented in immaculate condition and staff are really good at explaining options. we purchased a car and we were guided through the transaction details very well. We are an older couple but Jake was extremely nice and helpful with the process and payment. Excellent company.

I have financed over the years around 6 cars from motorpoint and never had any issues, they’ve always been helpful and aftercare has been good if I have had a little problem.

However this time hasn’t been the same, I am only trying to ask a question about an issue I flagged 2 days after taking out the finance ( about the car) and have been ignored via email 4 times now despite repeated chases. Really disappointed considering I always give them my custom over the years

The extra effort made by salesman achieving outcome

Everything was good but 2 points I would like to highlight.
1) There was a very small point out on the right front bumper. I asked one rep and he said that They would touch up the paint but the sales lady called someone and siad that it can not be done.
2) The least courtesy should be have paper floor mats to cover the shoes.
I bought an £11,500 car from Motorpoint and they didn't even wash the car and put even paper floor mats before delievering. They just wiped it down. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. Sales experience was good but these small things made me uneay.

From start to finish every One was so helpful and friendly . Even after pick up dash cams were forgotten to be given but once spoke to some one couldn’t be more helpful and had them delivered to me also spare key wasn’t in collecting car but was sent out to me with a friendly call . Very happy experience.

Would have liked the service book for the car as promised

Having purchased our last 2 cars from Motorpoint we returned to buy a Kia Ceed estate from the Peterborough site, travelling from near Cheltenham. It should have had a full history of 2 services. The car looked great but no stamps in the service book, nor paper record of the services. It transpired that the services had been done by Kwikfit thus invalidating the Kia 7 year warranty. I am not sure if the lack of paperwork was deliberate in the hope we would not notice & still buy or a management failure. Having driven 250 miles round trip we expected some kind of apology for our wasted journey but all we received were further e-mails from 3 different sales people inviting us to buy another car. I responded to the last one laying out why we walked away but again received no response. I have only written this review because of the lack of any kind of acknowledgement regarding the failure to have everything in place when we arrived to pick up the car. Very disappointed and now bought from Kia.

It was the first time I purchased a car from Motorpoint, as I usually buy a car from a private seller. But I found Motorpoint a very pleasant place to buy from knowing the cars are genuine and a safe place to purchase from unlike some of the smaller garages I have seen. I was left to look on my own, when I found a car I liked no pressure was put on me, and I felt totally comfortable buying from them and certainly will do in the future again.

Sam Crouch provided a seamless, professional, helpful & friendly service.
He is genuinely interested and engages well. When looking at various vehicles on the forecourt, our questions were answered honestly in a supportive way, to ensure the vehicle met our expectations and budget.
We returned to Motorpoint Peterborough to see Sam, as we had received excellent customer care from a previous occasion.
It was one of the hottest days of the year with sweltering temperatures. All staff remained professional during these uncomfortable conditions.
We were offered drinks, cold water and even received a much appreciated and unexpected ice cream!.
Thank you Sam and the team for the excellent customer service and we love the Peugeot 208 we drove home the same day.
