Hourly Rates not aligned as per the rates mentioned in the site .

I have engaged Mr.Fix to get a quote for New pipe installation. I engaged them since it was mentioned as 95 EUR (including VAT Tax) per hour . But after inspection by the plumber, I could see the quote mentioned as 925 EUR in total for 6-7 hours work which should ideally be between 575-665 EUR for 6-7 hours work as per the rates mentioned in their site .

When I asked them , there was no response.

I never recommend Mr.Fix to anyone, it's a open bright light looting by them . Don't fall for it . Will update review if I get any further response.

Lack of transparency

Had a disappointing experience with MrFix due to a lack of transparency in communication and billing.

I requested a contractor and was informed that a contractor (one person) would come to assemble my wardrobe. However, on the day two contractors arrived without this ever being communicated to me beforehand. This is important because it directly affects the cost of the service.

The contractors also arrived one hour late to our scheduled appointment and spent 2 hours 20 minutes assembling the wardrobe. Later that day I received an invoice charging 4.5 hours, which the company justified by saying that two people were working and therefore the time was doubled.

The problem is that I was never informed that two contractors would be coming (I was only told that a contractor by this name would come to do the job). Had this been communicated in advance, I would have had the opportunity to approve or decline the additional cost.

Clients should be clearly informed beforehand about how many workers will attend a job and how the billing will be calculated. Transparency is essential in any professional service.

Very dissatisfied with the overall experience here, whole thing felt like a scam!

Oplichting en slechte communicatie

Slechte communicatie, duurt lang voordat je antwoord hebt. Ik had mr fix gevraagd op de korte termijn, dus met verhoogd tarief. Hoeveel dit hogere tarief is wordt niet gecommuniceerd. Toen stonden er opeens twee mannen in mijn huis ipv 1. Dit is nooit gecommuniceerd. Ook nog schade aan mijn vloer gemaakt en dat achteraf ontkennen. Zeer slechte service en belachelijke hoge facturen.

Disappointing experience

The contractor sent by Mr Fix appeared to lack even basic experience. He was hired for straightforward tasks, such as hanging a lamp, yet spent four hours attempting the same job without success. In the process, he damaged a brand-new lamp and still failed to complete the work. When we ultimately asked him to leave, he became aggressive.

His behavior was also inappropriate in the group WhatsApp chat that included Mr Fix, where he communicated in a rude and confrontational manner. Despite this, no action was taken.

Mr Fix took no accountability for the situation. Even after we clearly stated that we were uncomfortable communicating with the contractor following the incident, they repeatedly insisted that we deal with him directly.

When we tried to escalate the matter with Mr Fix, they refused to take responsibility and continued redirecting us back to the contractor. To make matters worse, their CEO told us via WhatsApp to “leave him alone.”

This completely undermines the purpose of using a platform like Mr Fix. There is no meaningful customer protection, no accountability, and no support when issues arise.

Very disappointing and concerning experience.

The contractor sent by Mr Fix had no apparent experience. He was invited for simple tasks such as hanging a lamp, yet he spent four hours attempting the same task without success. In the end, he damaged a brand new lamp and failed to complete the work. When we asked him to leave he became aggressive.

The contractor also behaved in a rude and aggressive manner in the group WhatsApp chat that included Mr Fix, yet no action was taken.

Mr Fix took zero accountability for this situation. Despite clearly explaining that I was uncomfortable communicating with the contractor after this incident, they repeatedly forced me to deal with him directly. 

When I attempted to resolve the issue directly with Mr Fix, they refused to handle it and continued pushing me back to the contractor. To make matters worse, their CEO ultimately told me via WhatsApp to “leave him alone.”

This completely defeats the purpose of using a platform like Mr Fix. There is no customer protection, no accountability, and no support when something goes wrong.

Not worth it

There's not really any vetting about the competence of who they send to help with your problems, and when there is a problem, MrFix is useless in finding resolution.

I would be careful about outsourcing critical work in your house to someone with such low levels of oversight and accountability, especially with tasks such as plumbing and electrical work.

Met gemengde gevoelens vul ik deze in

Met gemengde gevoelens vul ik deze in, ik vermoed dat ik Mr FIX niet weer gebruik. Had een eenvoudig klusje ( 2 dimmers werkte niet), kreeg daarvoor een rekening gepresenteerd van 650 euro voor 2 uur werk. Van te voren was mij de indruk gegeven dat de electricien voorbereid aan huis komt, het tegendeel is waar. Hij moest naar een winkel om dingen te kopen, en dan wordt direct een uur extra in rekening gebracht. Ook andere dingen zijn voor mij niet ok : voor 5 minuten tijd een half uur in rekening brengen, kabels kopen. voor 4 x de benodigde afstand. Kortom: voor mij de laatste keer mr FIX. Ook omdat mr FIX geen pogingen doet iets aan de rekening te doen, alleen de electricien gaf 30 minuten korting.

Hello,

Hello,
I have received invoice M26-01147 (€95) but I cannot accept this invoice.
The job described in the invoice was “Inspect & Fix rain drainage”, however no repair was performed and no proper inspection was completed.
During the visit:
the expert arrived about 40 minutes late
the ladder he brought was too short, and I had to provide another ladder
the drainage system was not properly inspected
the conclusion given was simply that the overflow is “normal”, despite visible water damage on the façade
Because of this, the service described in the invoice (Inspect & Fix) was not delivered.
For this reason I dispute this invoice and request that it be cancelled.

Worst experience, never recommend especially for any appliances related complaints

I reached out to them on January 16th to get my dishwasher fixed, but it's now been over a month and the issue still isn't resolved. They sent a contractor the same day, who inspected and dismantled the dishwasher, reassembled it, and assured me the fix would work—despite also damaging the wooden cart underneath. Unfortunately, the problem persisted.

I contacted them again, and it took a week for them to respond. They then asked me to follow up with the original contractor, who had since left the country. He made it clear he won’t be returning to the Netherlands due to personal reasons.

Now, they want to send another contractor—who will have to start troubleshooting from scratch—and they expect me to pay for that too.

ONTZETTEND SLECHTE SERVICE. Niet van de klusser zelf waar ik aan gekoppeld was, maar wel door het bedrijf erachter. Degene op het kantoor Pieter is een onbeleefde hork. Ik belde om te zeggen dat ik een procedure wat onduidelijk vond, waarna hij dit ontkende, het niet wilde horen en mij beschuldigde dat ik het gewoon niet goed gedaan had en me daarna gewoon ophing! Bizarre behandeling. Hele proces is vaag met een mail waarop je dan wel kan antwoorden, maar die ze blijkbaar niet lezen. Daarna word je al in een appgroep zomaar gegooid waarna je dan zelf weer eruit moet stappen, maar dan ben je al wel gekoppeld. Offerte was ook belachelijk duur, ruim 5 keer zoveel als een andere. Sowieso natuurlijk al vaag dat ze in Belgie zitten.

Disappointing Incomplete Painting Work

They were very quick to respond and to book an appointment. The work was done on time, but unfortunately it was never fully completed. They were supposed to paint the entire apartment, however the area under the radiators (about 12–15 cm) was left unpainted. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that one day I would install skirting boards anyway. Regardless, I paid a significant amount of money and the job was left incomplete, which is very disappointing. They were not available to come back immediately to fix the issue, and unfortunately, they left the living room in very poor condition.

Zeer slechte ervaring

Zeer slechte ervaring. Werken met monteurs die geen verstand hebben! En mrfix die na een schade die is ontstaan niks heeft opgelost! Zij werken met zzp’ers die geen ervaring hebben!

Actually it was a horrible experience…

Actually it was a horrible experience they didn't finish the work as agreed, they should have to came at 8/9am and they came at 13pm, also they didnt put back in the right way the skirting board, for finish the work at 100% they ask me to pay an extra charge, I tried to find a solution afterwards but they didn't want, "they were on the right", i want just to pay also if the work was not finish and i already find someone else for finish it

Platform that works for contractors, not customers

The work was completed, but the experience left me disappointed. In a stressful situation requiring a quick solution, the platform focused on enforcing rules rather than helping manage expectations or protect the customer.

Urgent jobs are approved quickly, but there are no safeguards to prompt customers to think about limits, estimated hours, or proportionality. As a result, I was left with a very high bill for a small job and no real support afterward.
