We have had 2 members of staff train as MOT testers with MTTA.

The first was a couple of years ago at the Birmingham training centre-our employee was really impressed with the tidy,modern facility & passed the exams first time!
As were happy with the service we returned with a second employee for their qualification.On this occasion training was carried out at the Bolton site along with the DVSA demo test as we wanted the most streamlined,efficient option.Pleased to say all is now complete & we have a fully qualified tester!

If we were to use MTTA again we’d likely opt to use the Birmingham training centre.Communication between the Bolton site,Trevor (who liaises with customers/organises the courses) & our candidate became confused.We had a call from the training centre to let us know the course was almost complete,ahead of schedule therefore would finish 1 day early.Due to this we increased our workload,expecting to have our mechanic back to work sooner than anticipated.However the following day we received another call,telling us this was no longer the case & the course would now be running on the 3rd day-contrary to what we’d been told the day before!
To his credit,a quick call to Trevor & he clarified the situation & put things right meaning the course did complete a day sooner as the training centre had originally advised.

The important thing is we have 2 qualified Class 4/7 MOT testers thanks to MTTA.For the cost of £999 (inc’ VAT) I believe them to be the most cost effective firm nationwide for MOT tester training.
I’d really recommend the Birmingham training centre,though if necessary would use Bolton again.
