Excellent and timely services as always.

I recently took my vehicle to mycar Tyre & Auto Bankstown for its 110,000 km logbook service, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience — especially considering the cost of nearly $500.

I booked the service appointment for 12:15 pm through their website, as this time suited my personal commitments in the morning. Upon arrival, the mechanic expressed frustration that I had booked the vehicle in after 12 pm, stating that this would require them to stay back late to complete the work. This comment was both unprofessional and inappropriate — customers should not be made to feel they are inconveniencing staff for using the business’s own advertised booking times.

When I returned to collect my vehicle, I found it still inside the workshop. More concerningly, my logbook had not been filled in or signed — a basic requirement of a logbook service. When I politely asked for this to be completed, I was met not with an apology or explanation, but with an eye roll and dismissive attitude. This left me questioning whether the full logbook service was actually carried out, or if only the bare minimum work was done as per what appeared on the tax invoice.

Additionally, when I inquired about the complimentary 12 months of roadside assistance — which is clearly promoted as part of their service offering — I was simply told to call a 1300 number, with no further guidance or assistance provided.

Overall, this experience was highly unsatisfactory. I expected a professional service for the price paid, and instead I received poor communication, unhelpful staff, and a lack of confidence that the service was completed to standard. I would not recommend this location, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Dip the owner of mycar service has not explained clearly which parts needed to be fixed. Even, more than that the costs of parts which he had tole me on the first date, which were different to prices of parts of car in tax invoice list. Furthermore, he said that he would discount for me $78, but he did not keep his saying. I am concern of mycar service is at Bankstown as he provides fraudulent service.

Have been bringing my vehicles here for service and pink slips once they are out of warranty for the last 20 plus years. Have never had a bad experience. They always give me a call if there are any extra parts required and explain what needs to be done. Sometimes I can delay fixing it or it's a cue to buy a new car. The staff have always been professional. I have never had to return my car for any work to be redone.
