Found company to be excellent to deal with

Last time I did service my car , their staff didn’t tighten the oil section properly and had many issues on my way and it was so dangerous. Luck of experience, putting the wrong parts, not checking properly when they finishes the job

Quick efficient service

The staff were helpful and friendly.

The service provided was appalling!
1) I advised the urgency of having my air conditioning degassed when speaking with the Berwick service centre (not my local / closest) Friday. I was advised I would need to drop my car off by 8:15am in Berwick (on a Saturday morning) so the air conditioning guy could complete the job to enable me to be in the northern suburbs by 3pm.
2) Upon notifying the service centre I was running a little late Saturday morning, I was advised the air conditioning guy was also running late. Upon arriving at the centre, I was advised the aircon guy was not due to arrive until 9:30 and my car would be attended to first thing and would be ready around 1:30pm.
3) After trying to entertain myself in the adjoining shopping centre until 1:30 (because I had no way to return home or go anywhere else), I called the service centre to check on progress… the air conditioning guy still hadn’t arrived and was not due to arrive until 2:30pm (absolutely NO communication about this for approximately 4 1/2 hours)!
4) I called again at 2:30 to check the arrival of the air con guy (by this stage I was very stressed because the timeline to arrive on the other side of Melbourne in time was closing). I expressed my concerns about plans I had made and the urgency of it. I was advised as soon as the guy arrived my car would be first in line. Called at 3pm… the guy had just arrived and was working on my car, by this stage I was incredibly stressed and annoyed). A TEXT message was sent to advise my car was ready, I think based on the events of the day, a courtesy phone call would have been appropriate.
5) After having to coordinate the plans I had while walking to collect my car, I was told by the guy in the service centre I should have been told my car would need to be left for the entire day… the reason I didn’t go to my local service centre (who are amazing may I add… fabulous team!) was due to the urgency of my car having air conditioning to travel (on a 35+ degree day). I literally had to call my son to get things organised (including himself) and meet me at the front of our complex so I could literally pull up and go! Due to time constraints, I had to take toll roads to get there ASAP.

Really poor service by Berwick!
I am so grateful they are not my local option. Training / retraining in customer service skills wouldn’t go astray if you want to retain customers (because of my local team, you have not lost a customer in this instance)!

Took my car their for a service and brake lights were not working. When the manager Ric rang and said what needed fixing he did not mention the brake lights as they were ticked off as working. I asked him to check this as they were not. when i went to pay for the car i was told what had been done and billed for. again no brakes on the bill so i asked are the brakes working and was told yes. i get home after having my kids in the back seat and ask my wife to check the brake lights and they were not working. had to take it back after all this and leave my car there while they fixed it this time. absolutely disgusting that in a service brake lights are not picked up as not working. EDIT- As for the response from MyCar i DID contact their care team and was met with a response of 'they checked the work card' & will train the staff. That doesn't change the fact you wasted a whole extra day for me & the 2 people I needed to help get me back there. What you should be doing is refunding the service which wasn't completed.

Good service. Staffs were accommodating. Despite being busy, still able to do their job right. Very hardworking!

Always takes the time to explain what is required to be done, makes reasonable recommendations without pressure to buy extra services
