Mycar Hornsby branch - Booked in for a 10am tyre change (2 tyres) and was told to come in earlier at 9:45am. Arrived at 9:45am and was told it would take 2-2.5 hours to do the job. Manager recommended doing a wheel alignment at the same time which I agreed to. Went back at roughly 11am to check on the car and it was not there - noone in the shop - assumed that they were doing a test drive after the alignment. Went back at 12pm to be told the tyres hadn't been fitted yet because they could not locate the lock nut( had to show them where it was). I was pissed off by this time. I told the apprentice that I no longer wanted the alignment as it was already late. He gave be a BS story that it had already been done. Who does an alignment when the tyres haven't yet been rotated?!! He said that the tyres were the same model so it was okay to do it this way. Manager said the same thing. I asked for a print out of the alignment and the apprentice said that the printer was broken (very convenient). Apprentice took a photo of the readings on his phone. I walked up the screen and it was showing a different car to mine (Hyundai instead of my Audi SUV). Left the shop at 1pm - 3 hours to get 2 new tyres put on. Bunch of crooks! Never again!

The car wasn’t ready at the pick up time, we didn’t receive a call to arrange a later time for collection. Advised on (second) pick up that tyres would need to be replaced to pass registration but this hadn’t been done as part of the service. Absolute waste of time - will be taking our car elsewhere
Edited to add: took our car for a second opinion, it passed the rego check without tyre replacements. Thanks for your reply, we will certainly be following up

Booked my car in for a pink slip inspection thinking this was what I needed to transfer from a South Aus plate to NSW. My vehicle was booked in on the morning of the 04/02 with 0 questions asked. I then get a phone call saying that I need a “blue slip” inspection and they do not perform this service.
I asked: “why was this not checked when I booked the car in?” The gentleman said “ the plate number did not stick out to him, and did not question it. He also said that my plate # looked very similar to NSW plates (not true at all). I also had logbook service done the previous week at the exact same place, and he mentioned my S.A plate # immediately stood out to him. He was clearly making up a story to disguise the oversight.
Booking the wrong service was my stuff up, I own that, however “Paul” could have discussed a partial refund seeing as I paid for nothing. He was also pretty rude when I collected my vehicle. Basically threw the keys back at me saying nothing. $50 down the drain!

The staff there are always very professional and helpful. I will keep bringing my car back because of the great service.

My husband and I just stopped in to get information & upon returning to our car the front tire was flat! Paul took care of us right away-in about 5 minutes & was soooo kind & professional!!! We will ALWAYS use MYCAR Hornsby for ALL of our tire and battery needs!

It's great that mycar opens on a Saturday. It means I don't have to take a day off to get my car serviced. Awesome customer service and workmanship. Highly recommend 👌

Easy to access service centre, friendly and professional store crews. My Honda Odyssey has suffered a severe vibration during downhill breaking at speed over 50kmh and front wheel spinning when hill-start in wet weather for last two years. The tyre replacement and wheel alignment has fixed this , I cannot express how grateful I am as I took the car to several mechanics and couldn’t get this fixed!

The service was rendered as expected.

Pricematch on tyres was good, and installation seems ok.
However over 5 hours 30 minutes to do the job - when 1 to 1.5 hours was indicated - with no communication initiated by MyCar regarding the delay was very poor.

I had my headlight changed in no time. Great experience. I will go back there for other jobs and would warmly recommend them to others

A little late with pick up but otherwise great service

Despite of doing online booking. Oil filter was not available, ordered from somewhere, caused more than 1hr of delay, I don't think wiper fluid was filled, no test drive done. Overall not satisfactory.
