Absolutely unacceptable experience with Mycar Orange, NSW today.(15/04/2026)
I booked a logbook service and dropped my car off at 10:00 AM with a confirmed pickup time of 12:30 PM. I returned around 12:20 PM, only to find my car sitting in the exact same spot where I had left it—untouched. When I went inside, I was told that no work had even started and that I should come back at 5:00 PM.
To make matters worse, the staff mentioned that only two people were working on four cars at the same time. This clearly shows poor scheduling and lack of capacity management, which should never be passed on as an inconvenience to customers.
This is not just poor service—it’s a complete disregard for a customer’s time. I wasted over 2.5 hours waiting and wandering around nearby shopping centres under the assumption that Mycar would honor the agreed timeline. Instead, I was left stranded, forced to go back home, and then make another unnecessary trip later in the day.
There was no proactive communication and no accountability. If you cannot meet a scheduled time, the bare minimum is to inform your customer in advance—not let them show up expecting a completed service.
This experience has completely eroded my trust in Mycar. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to think twice before relying on them.
