MyClean honest review

Update: 7/23/19. After the poor customer service I received on 7/19/19, the CEO, Michael reached out to me. He apologized profusely, for the disrespect that I received and gave me a full refund. I have decided to change my star rating from 1 to 3. However, my feelings on the COO have not changed. My cleaner Joann, was great and I would hire her again! She really did clean our apartment well, and took the job very seriously. She gets 5 stars! Michael as well, gets top stars for reaching out to me and making the situation better, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. I told Michael, that I will not change my review when it comes to Kenny (COO). He's arrogant, disrespectful, and a raging bully! As a first time customer with MyClean, you'd think he'd be all about customer service, he has no clue what that means. I'm glad I kept the appointment. My apartment needed to be cleaned asap, and Joann did such a nice job. If I book again with MyClean, and have a better experience, I will update my star rating.

The cleaning wasn't great

The cleaning wasn't great. I ordered the service for my tenant. However, the tenant has to spend 6 hours for making additional efforts to redo the job. "We went through 3 rolls of paper towels and everything we wiped was black from dirt. I hope you can get some of your money back because I honestly have no idea what they did for the time they were in the apartment. There was still maple syrup spills in the fridge". After raising the issue to the customer services team, they don't even look into the issue in details, and reply with the email right away in less than 3 mins by saying they can't do anything. Not even considering and hearing further about the issue.

Thanks for the response. I've discussed with the team and understand the frustration you've experienced. And I apologize. I get it - I started this company, because I wanted my place cleaned with the same quality and convenience, clean in and clean out, regardless of my presence.

To the defense of my team, this was a particularly challenging situation, and we are sorry the confusion about our scope of work led to your client's dissatisfaction. The location had painting done and as counter-intuitive as it may seem (it's something we've learned over the years), this causes dust to settled and resettled for days after the paint job. This is why we recommend post-construction cleans in this circumstance. Unfortunately, because you had used us before, you were not directed towards our moving/deep clean questionnaire which would have pointed you towards the post-con service. As a result, our clean did not leave the location clean.

To respond to the first issue, regarding the cleaner's work ethic and honesty, Mel has been with us for 4 years and has made many clients happy during the period. I have no reason to believe that she left early. Instead, she simply could not meet the needs of your client.

As for the second issue, our CS team is trained to quickly identify the differences between a poor cleaning vs. a cleaning that was out of scope. They responded quickly once it was made clear there had been construction (e.g. painting). I apologize for the agent's abrupt messaging and are in discussions on how to improve this difficult message.

Nonetheless, It doesn't sit right with me of what you experienced from both a cleaning experience as well as a customer service experience.

First, I have deleted your payment info. In any case, it was always held securely and encrypted, and MyClean would never charge it without authorization (e.g., if you book a future clean).

Secondly, once you're stateside, I would propose a brief phone call to discuss how we can fix this for you and your client. We want you to get full value from our service, even where there was a miscommunication about what we could and could not do.

If this would interest you, please tell me a day and time when you're back and available, and a number to reach you, so I can call you (and update your records in our system).

I look forward to finding a resolution that can get our relationship back on track, even if you choose to go with another service in the future.

Easy to set up and flexible timing

Easy to set up and flexible timing; have the option to retain the same cleaner every time. It's a little pricey but the company is extremely helpful and easy to work with if you need anything or have any issues.

Best Cleaning Company in New York

My Clean is the best company to look into if you are looking for a responsible, experienced person to clean your apartment . No matter who they send to your apartment you can be sure that the cleaning will be done properly .I have been using this company for years .

Not cheap, but excellent service

Excellent service all around. I like that the same cleaner comes every time; she is very reliable, punctual, and thorough in her cleaning but works quickly. The apartment is spotless when she leaves.

Also, the office staff are very responsive; it's easy to reschedule appointments and they quickly reply to emails.

That said, it's not inexpensive, but I like that it's a flat rate instead of the hourly scheme that other companies have. Overall, I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

It took a little while to find a …

It took a little while to find a cleaner that could consistently do a decent job, and I'd recommend it if you just need to cover the basics, like the sinks, tub, floors etc. But there's not a lot of incentive to stay with the company because the cleaning never really adapts to needs of my place. There's never a dusting here or there every other visit - it's just sinks, tub, vacuum, done. My wife and I take care of the basics, but we'd like a relationship with a cleaner that knows our place and how to touch up the little things that we totally forget about.

Good Company

The company is wonderful. They are receptive and efficient in their customer service.
Sometimes the cleaner works harder than at other times, but once you set up your preferences, they do better. I recommend.
