I have had an absolutely fantastic experience with My Eco Garden Room from start to finish, and I genuinely could not recommend them highly enough.
From the very first meeting with Andy, who surveyed the site, explained everything clearly, and project managed the process throughout, the whole experience felt professional, organised, and exciting. The design stage was brilliant. They really listened to what I wanted and worked with me to create a completely bespoke garden room that incorporated all of my wish list items. The design documents and plans produced were incredibly high quality and gave me real confidence in the project from the outset.
The build process itself was excellent. Every member of the team was hardworking, friendly, respectful of my home, and genuinely lovely to have around. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were happy to tweak and adapt details where needed during the build to make sure everything was exactly right.
The coordination between all the different trades was seamless too, including the groundwork team, electrician, plasterer and painter, which made the whole process stress-free and smooth. Jamie, the owner, was also heavily involved throughout and clearly takes huge pride in the business and the quality of the work. He and Andy kept me updated regularly through the WhatsApp group chat with all the trades involved, which made communication really easy and reassuring.
The garden room itself is absolutely stunning. I had a bespoke 6m x 3m garden room built with bifold doors, and the quality of the workmanship is second to none. I was particularly impressed with the specification and build quality compared to many other companies. I especially looked at the galvanised steel framework, insulation quality, and overall construction standards, which was a far higher spec than others on the market. You can really tell this is a premium product built to last, not just a basic garden room.
They were also the only company I spoke to who were fully prepared to undertake all the groundwork required for the build as part of the overall project. In my case this included levelling part of the garden and creating a pathway, which made a huge difference and meant I didn’t have to try and coordinate separate contractors myself.
Another huge positive was that it was a genuine turnkey service. Everything was taken care of from start to finish. The attention to detail at every single stage was outstanding and made the entire process feel effortless.
I am honestly so happy with it and cannot wait to get it fully furnished and styled. It has completely transformed both my garden and my home by creating beautiful additional living space that can be used comfortably all year round. It has given us the extra space we needed far more quickly and cost-effectively than having a traditional extension built, whilst still feeling like a true extension of the house.
