We recently bought an Eddi to go with our existing Powerwall and it has been a welcome addition to our home solar setup. We’re saving around 5-6kWh/day with solar hot water. It’ll probably make us back our outlay purchasing it in 2-3 years. It took a while get it to work in sync with the Powerwall, but an online update from MyEnergi sorted that out. Now both work seamlessly together. Additionally, by using the Myenergi app on my phone we are able to program the Eddi to boost our hot water in the morning from our battery ensuring we have hot water all day round. It certainly provides more control over your solar hot water production than a conventional solar hot water system. Cant recommend it enough.

der Eddi ist eine gute Ergänzung um den Eigenverbrauch zu glätten. Bisher kann ich nur gutes über die Qualität berichten. Der Preis könnte jedoch geringer ausfallen, da die Amortisation-Zeit deutlich zu hoch ist. Ein weiterer Hinweis: die Update-Prozedur sollte besser Kommuniziert werden, sonst hat man keine Freude mit den Geräten von myenergi. Bis man dann, das System wider zum bekommt, vergehen so einige Stunden. Wenn man das jedoch verstanden hat, funktioniert alles so wie myenergi ihre Geräte bewirbt, ich finde sie richtig gut und überlege gerade, ob ich das neue Produkt "libbi" für mich in Betracht kommt.

Major cost savings for our family of 4. Eddi heats the hot water from the solar panels. 1st power bill since install we saved $120. Love it &!highly recommend
