Absolutely useless - watched Electrician try for two hours to try and sort fault. Help desk just flubbed them off. Buy one at your peril Useless Useless Useless
Unfortunately it’s very poor at msintain8ng a stable interconnection with iPhone and iPads using the app. My ZAPPI 2 has a 120metre cat5 connection and an internet signal but still it’s rarely possible to use the app to program a charge e#p3cially now that we use a SMART Tariff…. Poor service really I’m sure i5 will work but it’s a load of tinkering which I’m not good at !! The screen doesn’t light up any longer.

I’m sorry to hear about the connection issues you’re experiencing with your Zappi and the app that certainly sounds frustrating, especially with your setup and SMART tariff.
Please raise a support ticket through our Help Centre https://support.myenergi.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new , and once you have your ticket number, give us a call on 0333 300 1303 with that reference. One of our team members will be happy to investigate this further and help get everything working properly again.

Customer Support not existing, Firmware with bugs and no information about how to fix them. External management from your energy provider fails, cannot be resetted now and causes me to manually activate and start each charging process. Update: Support is unable to handle my request nor do they seem to understand my problem. They cant reset the OCPP settings and the wallbox remains in a state where I always have to manually confirm a charging session twice. Unacceptable.

Could you please raise a support ticket with the attention of the Customer Experience Manager? I’ll make sure someone picks it up promptly and goes through everything with you in detail.
In many cases, the errors reported are simply down to confusion some third-party systems can be quite complex to navigate initially, and it's not uncommon for users to be unsure about what exactly they’ve signed up for. With so many platforms out there, it can understandably get a bit overwhelming.
Once the ticket is raised, we’ll do our best to clarify everything and help get things back on track.
It's great very easy to use.

Installed in 2023. Chose Zappi for 22kW charging, dynamic load balancing and eco+ mode that charges the car with excess solar power, maximizing self consumption of PV generated power. This worked great for about 1.5 years. Unfortunately this does not work as is did before after receiving new firmware on my Zappi. Reached out to my energy but no solution nor, ‘we are aware of this problem and are working on it’, nothing. Quite disappointing to be honest. Update: I have heard from myenergy and I heard a new firmware version should be arriving soon fixing the problem. That s good news! Will update once the issue has been resolved of course. Update: Received the new firmware and this fixed the problem.

Eco++ mode is not working. Shortly after start, als my solar panels provide a high output, it stops charging and gives the message that the car battery is full while it is not (even when nearly empty). Connected car is a Renault Megane e-tech
Of course, the quality is good but what is reassuring is that it has been consistently supported and upgraded over time. This means that those of us that purchased a Zappi years ago are still supported and as an example, firmware upgrades have become simpler and more straightforward.

I would never buy it again, becaouse it makes always problems with the right time. So we can´t count the energy we rally use..
Zappi brilliant because you can drive it through the keypad if WiFi fails. Harvi removed as rubbish and now hard wired CT.
We love our zappi charger. I have found the tech support to be brilliant. A proper person who knows what she is doing

The menu interface could be a little clearer and more modern. Suggestion for improvement: A proximity sensor could make the display light up as soon as someone comes near the wallbox. In poor lighting conditions, you have to ‘blindly’ press a button to see anything on the display.

The zappi is a quality product with many advanced features .It is a perfect match with my solar panels and backup battery.
Very pleased with my Zappi, we've had it over 6 months now and its performed flawlessly. Once commissioned by the engineer it did take a little while to get the app/account installed and connected but once done its be great. Works well with Octopus EV.
Fitted part of an octopus package,the whole process went smoothly and I'm really pleased with the results. Easy to use app, and I can get my car charged quicker and take advantage of the cheapest rates.
