It means a great deal to us all to read that your second MyIrelandBox brought such joy, and that you noticed the quality of the pieces and the care behind them. I love to curate for you and find and even make beautiful pieces from Ireland that are unique and useful and reflect our traditions and the talent of our artisans.

I smiled at you mentioning the scent first, because so many people say that when they open a MyIrelandBox for the first time.

And I am especially glad you enjoyed the little companion booklet too, because a great deal of heart goes into writing those journeys each month. I love writing them for you all - and now we have activities and learn some Irish included and many other chapters to keep you going throughout the month.

I was glad we could investigate what happened fully and explain the duplicate order issue properly once I became aware of it. We always want things to feel fair and clear, especially when someone is new to how our plans work.

Thank you again for raising this.

When we reviewed your order carefully, we found that one recurring plan had been placed with a quantity of two selected at checkout, which is why two March boxes and two April boxes were generated under the same order. This was not a system error, but two boxes under the same plan being processed from the original order.

Your two March boxes have now been delivered, and the two April boxes are already on their way. As a gesture of goodwill, we have also arranged a refund equivalent to one box and closed everything fully going forward.

We are a small Irish business and always try to resolve unusual situations fairly when they arise.

I have also emailed you.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for raising this.

I reviewed the correspondence carefully here and could see that our customer service team had replied to Margaret when she contacted us, with instructions on how to manage and stop the membership. It may be that those replies were missed or landed in spam or junk.

We did not receive any registered letter here in the office, and we had not been informed of the address change, so shipments continued to the address held on the account.

In any case, the membership has now been fully closed from our side going forward.

Occasionally delays happen once parcels leave Ireland and enter international postal systems, and in your case there was also confusion around duplicate ordering which we were happy to investigate fully and resolve.

Your March MyIrelandBox was part of a later March shipment which experienced delay in transit, and I was personally following it with our UPS contact while waiting for updates from the USA side.

I am very glad to know that your box has now arrived safely with you.

We are continuing to work hard on improving shipping times again, and April has already gone out, with food now back inside the boxes as well.

I love that you and your Irish twin share parts of the box between you. That is such a lovely image and very much in the spirit of it all.

You made me smile about the Las Vegas heat. We have learned the hard way that Irish chocolate and Nevada summer temperatures do not always make easy companions, which is why we now plan very carefully around warmer months.

Your parcel is on its way, and while international delivery can sometimes take a little longer than expected, we can see that it is moving through the network and progressing well.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

You signed up for a recurring 3 month plan, which automatically renews unless cancelled. This is outlined at checkout and again in the welcome email sent after sign up. I understand that this can sometimes be overlooked, and I can see that your subscription has now been fully cancelled and no further boxes will be sent.

There was a short period where a small number of shipments experienced delays. We communicated updates to members by email and in our Facebook community and adjusted our shipping process. Our February boxes shipped on time and are already arriving with members, and the same schedule is planned going forward.

Regarding the contents, we stand very proudly over the items included. We have received a very large number of recent five star reviews from members who have loved the surprises and the Irish makers featured. Of course every box will not suit every personal taste.

The sterling silver shamrock necklace, valued at over $70, was included as a complimentary gift specifically for customers who chose the recurring 3 month membership plan. Customers who selected the one time non renewing gift option did not receive this promotional gift, and both options were available at checkout.
