I don't know if our case was the toughest nut to crack that Harry Boyer and Emily Micklesfield of MY MORTGAGE FINDER ever had but I am sure we were right up there! When the game of baseball gets tough and the team is down by one with little time remaining, a pinch-hitter is brought in. When a mysterious crime with little clues has been committed they bring in the best detective who sees what other detectives do not see. Our Mortgage case was metaphorically speaking the unsolvable case, the unwinnable baseball game and yet, with the wonder working mortgage magic of Harry and Emily, they pulled off a life-changing win for my wife Abigail and myself. Our first mortgage company abandoned us, pulled the rug out and said "good luck!" Two foreigners in our sixties with a mixed credit score - yet hard working, with permanent jobs. Other mortgage companies would not give us a second look. Too difficult! Too risky! But just like the super detective arriving on the tough crime scene, or the home-run hitter stepping in to save the day, Harry and Emily showed up for us and the fee we paid up front was the best fee we ever paid for the promises kept and the service with a smile, for the magic! Thank you Harry and Emily!

Excellent service provided by My Mortgage Finder. This is my second review as I thought that I would not be needing the team during the final stages of my remortgaging. How wrong I was! The third party (Integrar Services) was one of the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever been in contact with.
If it wasn't for Kerry (and Michala) my mental health would have been completely shattered. Throughout the finalising of my re-mortgaging process, my sanity was truly tested. Fortunately I had Kerry and Michala on my side. Step by step...they made phone calls and wrote emails on my behalf, as I could not bring myself to deal with the third party anymore.
They were encouraging, thoughtful, ultra professional, competent and kind.
If I didn't have these two assisting me I would have abandoned my remortgage application.
Thank you very much My Mortgage Finder for allowing Kerry and Michala to be my survivors. They are very special.
It's a shame the offices are so far away from me, otherwise I would have gone there to personally thank them.

A special thank you to Michaela, whose reassurance and support meant so much during one of the most difficult points in the process. When it looked as though the purchase might fall through and I was struggling to get answers elsewhere, her positive and encouraging email gave me the confidence and motivation to keep going.

The entire team showed exceptional customer service, professionalism, care and dedication from start to finish. I never felt like just another customer; I felt genuinely supported by people who were invested in helping me achieve the best possible outcome.

Thanks to their hard work, I secured my mortgage and my dream home. I cannot recommend My Mortgage Finder highly enough. If you're looking for a mortgage broker that truly goes above and beyond, this is the team you want on your side.

This has to be one of the nicest encounters I could have had with a company.

I tried a couple of different mortgage advisors before coming to My Mortgage Finder, and had the worst experience. I thought, Ok, I will give this one last attempt. And I am glad I did.

From the first point of contact until the mortgage offer, everything was perfect.

Firstly I had a brief call asking a few questions and they booked me an appointment for the very next day.

I had a call with George, who was amazing, made me feel at ease, told me the truth about what he thought about my situation. And he guided me from there. Later that day, bearing in mind this is a Saturday, George called me back, and we went through and applied for the DIP. And it came back within half an hour.

George also sent me a Starbucks voucher so I could grab myself a coffee. This made a huge difference. I felt listened to, important, and that my decisions weren't a joke.

Every time I asked for an update (if I needed to, as they were on the ball and mostly updated me before I needed to). The previous company got angry at me and was very rude. Not these guys, though; they were nothing but professional.

Once we started progressing, Laila came on board. And what a fantastic experience that was.

If someone had asked me whether I wanted to buy a house again and go through this, I would have said no until George and Laila got on the case.

It was a dream come true, and they were amazing.

As I was doing this solo, I felt I needed a little more guidance, they really carried me through the journey, communication was great, smooth service from application to completion.
Are the fees slightly higher? yes, but you certainly get what you pay for, at a faster pace, Would highly recommend.

MMF got us a mortgage in principle very quickly and when we found our perfect property and had an offer accepted the were quick to get us a mortgage offer. Jack, Kelvin and Michala were great throughout and would recommend MMF and this amazing team to everyone

Buying a house is one of the most stressful things I have ever had to go through, nevermind with adverse credit, BUT, Hayley Upton and Co and My Mortgage Finder is an absolute gem. From the first point of contact, right through to getting our mortgage offer, Hayley was always at the end of a phone call, email or even a wee WhatsApp message. I highly recommend using MMF and especially Hayley, if you're ever struggling to get a mortgage.

I have been with My mortgage finder since 2025 when I was going through my first purchase , sadly that didn’t go through due to the sellers side and issues with it . All through this time Isabelle was really supportive and Pepper were really good and understanding of my situation . I am now on a new purchase and all three of the team have been outstanding Connor, Isabelle and Faye from the blue team . As first time buyers we were anxious and unsure of the whole process. Couldn’t recommend my mortgage finder enough! Connor was amazing and would fit in calls around us including very late when needed which we appreciated. They always replied very quickly and told us everything we needed to know and updated us often. Made things really smooth. Connor, Faye and Dylan have been amazing

Extremely disappointing experience and poor handling of my mortgage application.

I applied for a mortgage in principle and was charged a £1,999 fee upfront. I was assured the process was straightforward, but the information I was given proved inaccurate, and the application was mishandled from the start. AIP was originally issued, but no full checks were conducted, after a late payment on a monthly mortgage payment due to having to pay their charges all of sudden stopped any further progress

When issues arose, communication became slow and unhelpful, and I was left to chase updates myself. At no point did I feel the situation was managed professionally or with any urgency.

I raised a complaint, but the response was dismissive and failed to address the core problems. I have since escalated the matter to the Financial Ombudsman due to the financial loss and the way the case was handled.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious before paying any upfront fees or relying on the advice provided.

***UPDATE***

The situation has unfortunately worsened since my original review.

After I raised legitimate concerns about how my mortgage application and the £1,999 fee were handled, the company asked me to remove my review, stating they “can no longer work with me” due to a lack of trust.

They also told my wife that I had “called their office raging”, which is simply untrue; they called me, and I remained calm and factual throughout.

This attempt to rewrite events and pressure me into removing a fair review has only reinforced my concerns about their professionalism and transparency.
