Great service from Alex and Novara.
Our experience of buying a car was first class, right from the first phone call to driving the car away. Alex the salesman was courteous, friendly and very professional. He wasn’t one of the ‘pushy’ types of salesmen you sometimes come across, he just advises when asked and gives help and advice when required.
The car we bought was a bargain and certainly not overpriced. Novara car sales is a genuine trustworthy business that I would definitely use again and would recommend to anyone who is after a hassle free car purchase. Five star.

Bought a car on the 29/11/25 from Novara Glossop.
From speaking to Alex on the phone to arrange a test drive, to taking the car home, the service from Alex was expectional.

Not very happy with the salesperson attitude whilst looking at a vehicle. Decided to buy it though and put down a deposit on the understanding some bodywork was rectified. When I checked to see if the vehicle was ready I got the " attitude " again from the salesman involved.Phoned again a couple of days later to ask again if the vehicle was ready and was accused of being " demanding " His attitude was appalling right the way through the proceedure. I ended up cancelling the sale and lost my deposit as well. If that's the kind of service you get goodness knows what would happen if there was a problem with the car later on ! The charm school lost a great candidate with this guy. Never again.

Went looking for a vehicle throughout the area, visiting Novara last as they were the nearest to my home. I found the staff really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and the prices very competitive.
Purchased a vehicle as a result and they also put 12 months MOT on the car which was carried out quickly and efficiently.
Well worth a visit if you're looking for a car in the Glossop/ Tameside area

Review 2 of 3- Handover Experience
On collection the car was ready and looked immaculate. Its clear the detailers take pride in their work as I felt like I was picking up a brand new car straight from the show room. Ive even seen the pics of my car that I part ex'd and that now looks immaculate as well. They took time to ensure we were happy with the car, knew how everything worked and the car was fully charged. All in all the best car buying experience I have had in over 30 years of motoring. I'm hoping I wont need to test the after care but ill be back with a 3rd review if I do. Based on what I've experienced so far I have no worries if I do need to get in touch! Top work Novara

Review 1 of 3: Sales Experience - Ive always been tentative going to a smaller dealership as in your face pressure and heavy handed sales just sends me running. No such issue here. The guys were friendly, helpful and went to great lengths to make sure we could browse without interruptions. We didn't even intend buying a car that day but by having that space and no pressure we were able to make a unpressured decision. So a big thumbs up from me on the sales front. I bought a car from Novara in August and the service I received was excellent. Alex told me about the car I was interested in and gave me the keys so I could check everything out. There was no pressure, we had a good chat and for once I felt completely at ease as there was no hard sales etc. Everything went smoothly, Alex sorted out the paperwork and tax then I collected my car the next day.

I have already recommended Novara to friends - this is a local company with good stock at good prices. Their customer service is the best with no hidden agenda.

Their aftersales care is also brilliant - a couple of weeks ago I noticed a sound which I thought might have been a loose bracket. I rang Novara and they booked me in straight away. My car was checked and the problem sorted quickly - my car was ready to pick up after about an hour. Alex once again was great, he explained everything they had looked at in detail and I was more than happy that everything was done so professionally.

Sometimes car showrooms lose interest once you've bought a car but Novaras aftersales service is not like like that. They are genuinely helpful, down to earth and keen to solve any problems no matter how small without any fuss.

I will definitely be booking my car in there for it's MOT and service when due. It's great that you can get everything done locally and at the same place.

Just purchased a car from this company, would highly recommend them for your next vehicle, Alex was brilliant up to and at the hand over stage, he kept me updated on regular basis on what was happening with the car from the mot and valeting details etc as we live in Derby and they are in glossop. This was my first time buying a second hand vehicle and I was nervous for a variety of reasons. Saw a vehicle on Autotrader with Novara and upon telephoning received a polite and professional response and all my queries answered about the vehicle. Upon visiting the showroom I was met by Jag who showed me the vehicle, but then gave me the space to look around the vehicle with no pressure and then answered any questions and was offered a test drive following this. Discussed my concerns about lack of warranty on second hand vehicles and warranty options were explained and options offered. I decided to purchase the vehicle and once again on collection met with a friendly welcome when going through the paperwork and being shown to my car. I would like to thank not only Jag for his help but also all the other staff, even behind the scenes who prepared the car for collection. Would highly recommend this dealer.
